Waiting

Waiting...
Motionless in an enclosed cell
Blackness paints the room
Protected, yet bound in hell

Sound is slayed
Time has lost it's meaning
A figure outlined in dismal grey
Woman of stone, she is not leaving

Doing time for her baby
Loving her, her only crime
Alone she sits, Her face a mask
Discolored skin and black eyes of a mime

Life has drained from her body
Wearing tattered rage, flesh like paste
Failing to spend every moment with her
Decaying a fitting punishment for such waste

There is a spark that lies behind her eyes
From the hell which he gave her
The most valued possession of her life
She alone was the one that saved

Dust devours everthing
Webs are spun into complex mazes
A faint breath heard undetected
Loneliness has left her crazed

In a shattered mind she sees
His face swims in a crowd of strangers
For just an instant and then lost
What is real, the image lingers on

She has spent a lifetime with him
Yet they have been apart an eternity
His love she sees as her only prayer
For life in this dreamless reality

One day her true love will find her
He will set her free, she hopes and prays
She hasn't given up on her dreams
Patience she knows is the only true key

Waiting...
A sound is heard, excitement bades
Time inches, crawls, creeps slowly forward
The single heart beat wishes to fade.

I sit in my room
body cold and tired
hear the sirens
ringing in my head
hurting so loud
I'm about to explode.
My skin, bright red shade
sweating oil that bleeds
into the ocean, so smooth
it aluminates my tired skin.
As the grey moves down
gathering up the oil.
I sit here looking
see the mountains
the fog has swallowed
them up as it moved
on the city, hiding all
it's true face is virulence.
Little red blotches
peoples lives, their homes
soon to be eaten
people going left and right
they  won't be here tonight.
The man here doesn't know
what pours from his mouth
is meaningless,
I will be gone soon
heading towards the fog
eating me and mine.

DEATH STANDING

WALKING INTO THE SMOKE FILLED ROOM
INCENSE AND CIGARETTE, THEY INTERTWINE
SHAPE DANCING, HER IN HER DARKEST GLOOM
NO ONE NOTICED, NO ONE SAW THE SIGN

SHE DANCES ACROSS THE SOFTEST BLACK FLOOR
TWIRLING HER BODY AMONGST THE SMOKEY CLOUD
NEVER EVEN SAW HIM STANDING IN THE DOOR
HE WATCHED HER CLOSELY, SO VERY PROUD

EYES ARE LOST, FACE  SO DEEPLY SUNK
SHE SINGS SO LOUDLY, SOMEONE HELP ME OUT
SCREAMS ECHO, SEEMS HER HEART HAS SHRUNK
HE MOVED IN CLOSE, WHISPERS I KNOW WHAT IT'S ABOUT

HER BODY SINKS SLOWLY TO THE HARD GROUND
GENTLY HE CARESSES, KNOWING WHAT SHE DREAMED
ARMS SLOWLY RELEASE, NO ONE IS AROUND
SPIRIT HE TAKES, HER SOUL HE HAS REEMED
