Here is part of our backyard in the last summer of 2003. We decided we wanted a
Koi pond and researched them until we decided how to proceed.

The shape is completed and now we lay in the liner.

Fill her up! You can see the Biofalls in place and the rocks being stacked from the bottom up to form the waterfall.
This is 2 days later! We had a major storm come through and we were told there was a tornado.
I know it made a messof all our hard work and we had a lot of clean up to do.
This is how it looked at the end of the summer in 2003. We estimkate that our free form lined pond holds 750 gallons of water.
We will complete the landscaping in the spring after the thaw and build a flagstone patio around it.
Here are some pictures from August 2004. There is some progress, but more is needed. It's an evolving pond ;)
We have added plants and Koi and 4 or 5 frogs have moved in.
