We started the backyard renovations in the summer of 2003 when the Koi pond was put in.
With the help our good friend Larry, we finaly decided on a plan and for my birthday,
my darling husband and his friends landscaped our backyard.
Here is the before as the work started.
An the after. We added new plants, and a custom patio.
Here is the view from the deck. You can see the patio, they concrete
driveway my husband put in for our camper and the far left is the Koi pond.
This is a view from the other end of the deck, across our backwayrd.
Here is a closer view of the patio itself. The edges had to be hand cut to make the curvved edging.
And here is another view of our Koi pond looking back up to the deck.
