The Story of Thrae
Disclamer: The begining of this story started as an RPG. It is written by four people, including myself. I have edited the different parts and put them together. I will be writing the rest of the story . I do not take credit for all the characters.
THE BEGINING
The roar of the crowd assembled was deafening and the three solemn figures stared at one another, dreading what they had to announce. One of the women took the initiative and stepped into view, almost immediately silencing the crowd. She stared out with calm, dark brown eyes and surveyed the people who had gathered. Her husband, Akalverin, stepped out and stood beside her silently while the third figure remained in the shadows, unseen."Loyal subjects of Thrae, I appreciate the fact that you have all come here on such short notice. Amarande's forces have begun to move toward the Northern borders and-" Queen Arcadia said, but was cut off by gasps and then the deafening roar of the crowd as they all spoke at once."Please! Please!" the king pleaded. "Let us continue." "The forces of Thrae have managed to hold off his troups so far,but I fear that they won't be enough," Arcadia continued. "And so-" The crowd was in an uproar yet again, panick holding the loudest voice there. The third figure stepped out of the shadows and then entire room fell silent at her presence. "In order to insure Thrae's safety, the Ancient Powers will be called forth and released," Sailor Pluto spoke softly. No one spoke. All stared at her as if she were a dream, no,a nightmare. "So we will send our CHILDREN to fight now?" one voice shouted angrily. Others followed. "They will have the ancient powers to protect them. They will become the Thraen Senshi and Soldiers. It is the only chance all of Thrae has against Amarande and his forces. "Will your own daughter fight?" a voice called out loudly. The room silenced again as all eyes watched the king and queen for their response. "She-" "She will if she is chosen," the king spoke up, knowing that his beloved did not wish their daughter to fight. It wouldn't happen.. it couldn't. She was the heir to the throne… By the next morning, the Ancient Powers had been released and were already on their search for the chosen souls who would possess them. Arcadia and Akalverin sat silently with Sailor Pluto before them. "Help is on the way," she said softly, touching Arcadia's hand. "My daughter and a trusted friend of hers will be here shortly, just as soon as they are finished elsewhere," she finished. Arcadia nodded and sat back, awaiting the arrival of the Senshi and Soldiers.

Princess Arcadia had heard every word her parents and Sailor Pluto had said and now she was pacing in her room in the castle. She wanted out of here. She NEEDED out of here. The 15-year-old girl sighed and went to lean on the ledge of her balcony and stared out dazedly. Wait. What was that? Her dark brown eyes filled with surprise and widened as she took a step backward. A silvery light was coming toward her as she backed up even more. Without warning the light sped forward and plunged into her chest. She uttered a soft cry and staggered back as her entire body began to glow with the silvery light. There was a bright flash of light and Princess Arcadia fell to her knees, breathing heavily, a hand to her chest. She froze and slowly looked down at herself. She wore a white... bodysuit-looking thing with a silvery-blue skirt and collar. She wore white gloves that had black bands at her elbows. Silver bows and black boots completed the look. She slowly stood and made her way to her mirror, wide-eyed. No, she was wrong. A black choker and a tiara completed the outfit. That's about the time she opened her mouth and let out a scream. The light came about again and faded, leaving her as she was as she fainted to the floor of her bedroom. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Amaya looked out the large window which occupied the area behind her bed. The sun was just inching over the horizon and the rays of light made the lake outside the house shimmer. There were several other houses around the edge of the lake. The bueaty almost made Amaya let a smile run across her face. However her heart was too full of anger and hatred. The object of her hatred lay a days journey from the house. * The King and Queen have too much power ... and absolute power corrupts absolutly. Because of that corruption and power my parents are now dead* As she looked out upon the lake a soft knock came to the door. " Enter" she called back in a cold voice. A young girl no older than 10 walked thru the door and shut it behind her. " Sis, you havent come down for breakfast yet. Aunt Lili was getting worried and sent me to check on you." " Tell her I will down shortly " Amaya replied without even turning back. ( 2 hours later ) Amaya stood on the dock outside her aunts house. Her little sister was swimming in the lake. She turned twaords the road. There she saw something she had never seen before. She stood there with a face of shock not knowing what to do. Amaya stared at the object in the road. It was a ball of blue energy with the symbol of Omega on it. Amaya slowly approached the ball of energy. As she drew closer a humm filled the air. Once she was infront of the Ball it burst into pieces, the pieces then created an orb around Amaya. Once the orb was complete a symbol began to glow on Amaya`s forhead, the Symbol of Omega. * Whats going on ?* Amaya thought. As if reading her thoughts a Spirit dressed in a Sailors Uniform appeared. As the woman apeared the orb reformed itself into a flowing river. Amaya looked about, she was not where she had started in the distance layed a mighty gate. Amaya looked at the spirit who began to speak. " Greatings young one... I am... was Sailor Styx. I was the orginal holder of the Ancient Powers of Styx, Holder of the Key to Enternity, Guardian of the Gates to Eternity and Threa. That was a long time ago. Now it is time once again for the Powers of Styx to be awakened." " What does this have to do with me." Amaya replied with a hint of confussion. The Spirit infront of her laughed and sighed. " You are the chosen one, you are the one who shall now bear the tittle of Sailor Styx, Senshi of Lost Souls." Before continueing the Spirit let the info sink in. Amaya just stood there stuned. " Now.. take my hands and become one with the Powers of Styx." Amaya placed her hands in the Spirits. The waters benath them began to become violent. A Blue beam went from the Spirit into Amaya. The Spirit dissapeared and the river once again turned into an orb. Seconds later the orb collapsed into Amaya. Amaya was left floating by her Aunts house with a haze of energy around her. the Energy faded and she fell softly to the ground. She breathed eeply before looking around. * What the heck was that!* She then looked down. Around her neck was a chain with a small key attached. And in her left hand was a pen like object with the symbol of Omega planted on it. As she started to wal back to the house a voice rang in her mind. * Go to the Palace.. there is the start of your destiny.. the begining of your purpose. Go now, before it is too late !* Amaya looked around until she saw a white horse on the road. It was turned in the direction to the Palace. * The Palace... not exactly the spot I wished I were going . Maybe its my destiny to confront the King, Queen, And Captain of the Guards for the crimes they have commited.* She walked over to the hourse which had the Omega on its forhead, climbed on, and headed for the palace* I dont have time to say goodbye, the voice made it seem urgent*. The horse had amazing speed and everything became a blur. In a minuets there was a flash and she appeared (Without the Horse) in front of the Palace. She walked towards the Gates but was stopped by a guard. " Ma`am , I cannot let you pass.. you are not authroized to enter the palace." Just as Amaya was about to protest ablue light emited from her chest and her Senshi Uniform appeared on her. The Light could be seen to those inside the Palace as well. In a moment the light faded and left the Guard looking on in amasment.

MEANWHILE, ELSEWHERE IN THE UNIVERSE:
On Earth Aiko Haya and Deucalion aproach the gates of time and space. Gazing in wonder, Deucalion turns to Aiko. "Where's your mother?" A warm glow radiated from the pendant around her neck. Something seemed vaguely familiar about this. "I can do it myself. I think." As she opened the gate, she took her friends' hand. A blast of light and wind envelope them. Entering, a mass of wind, voices, light, and a strange force surround them. "Aiko...?" "Just concentrate on the other end." Aiko says, steadily walking forward. As she starts to enter her destination, they loose there grip on eachother. "CAL!!!!!" Deucalion is swept away. Aiko whips around, reaching, trying to run after him, and is thrown out the other side. "Cal" she whispers. *He'll find his way* a voice tells her. She stands and looks around at the meadow she had landed in. Over the trees she sees what looks to her like a palace.
~~~~~~ Pluto looks up from her chair. "Arcadia, she's here. Alone." ~~~~~~
After making her way to the palace, with many odd stares from the townspeople, a guard eyes her suspiciously. "Aiko, daughter of Setsuna, to speak with the king and....." Her energy was quickly diminishing as she fell to the ground. The gaurds sent for help as the first kept her from hitting the ground. "How strange," he said while examing the the glowing starish thing on her forehead.
BACK AT THE PALACE:
Queen Arcadia nodded and stood, turning to her husband. "I'll go meet Aiko. You go get Caddy and bring her down to meet our guest. With that said, the queen strode gracefully out to the gates of the palace, where she saw not only who she assumed was Pluto's daughter, but she saw a senshi as well. "With the sign of Omega..." she said softly. A smile broke out upon her face. "Sailor Styx, what a pleasant surprise. I must apologize for not being here sooner. I told the guards to just show you all in, but apparently my words were misunderstood. She looked over at Aiko and the guards. "Bring her inside, please," she said calmly. "Highness, I don't-" one of the guards protested and the queen sighed. "Bring her inside and tend to her," she repeated, turning again to Sailor Styx. "Please, if you would accompany me inside..." she said, trailing off and turning to go back into the palace. King Akalverin had been making his way to his daughter's room when he heard her scream. The girl had locked herself in and the guards were trying to get in without actually breaking the door down. "MOVE!" the king ordered, running up. He shouldered heavily into the door and the door gave away. It was all he could do to remain standing and his eyes widened at the sight of his daughter on the floor, having fainted. He was at her side immediately and knelt there, his eyes narrowed slightly. On her forehead was the symbol of Lunar. It soon disappeared and the princess' eyes fluttered open. "Daddy?" she asked in a whisper. King Akalverin just stared at her. "The legends were true. You are Sailor Lunaria," he whispered. Her eyes widened. "How did you-" "Nevermind that. Do NOT tell your mother," he said, helping Caddy to her feet. "Um... but how am I supposed to keep it a secret?" she asked in a whisper. She got no response from her father and that always meant one of two things. One, he wasn't going to say and she'd have to figure it out on her own. Two, he had no idea and she was on her own anyway. The pair made their way to the throne room and took their places, Arcadia choosing to stand beside her father's throne. Both watched silently as Queen Arcadia entered the room with a senshi and a pair of guards carrying a weakened girl. Arcadia took her seat and motioned for a chair to be brought for Sailor Styx while Aiko was taken to a room to rest. "Please, Sailor Styx. Tell us about yourself," Arcadia said with a smile.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sailor Styx silently took her seat and kept her eyes on the Royal Family. * I cant belive Im this close to them... so close yet powerless to set my revenge into motion* " My name is Amaya Utagi.... For the earlier part of my life I was raised only two days travel from here. At least until 7 years ago, thats when my parents were slain. Im sure you must have heard about it.. it did happen right outside the palace. A .... madman with a very strange weapon went balistic. Several people, including my parents, were killed before the Royal Guard did anything..." * Stay calm.. do not loose control of your emotions. " Since then I have been cared for by my Aunt." Amaya looked around for a second then turned to the King. " Have any other.... * What are they..we..called* Senshi appeared?"

Queen Arcadia's hand flew to her mouth in utter shock and her eyes widening. King Akalverin stared at the girl and nodded gravely. He remembered that day easily. It had been one of the worst disasters of Thrae. Aside from Amarande, of course. "We are truly sorry for your loss," he said softly, compassion in his eyes. Arcadia nodded mutely, still too shocked to say anything. Caddy stepped forward, deciding to take the situation into her own hands. She smiled and held her hand out in greeting as her parents looked on. "Princess Arcadia... uh.. Caddy for short," she said with a smile. She turned back to her parents. "I'm going to bring her to see Lady Pluto's daughter," she said, grabbing Sailor Styx by the hand and dragging her from the throneroom. Guards began to follow, but the girl threw out a hand, stopping them without a word. "The girl we're about to see is also a senshi. So am I. But my mother cannot know," she said, releasing Styx's hand and walking quickly through the maze of hallways until they arrived at the room Aiko Haya was staying in. Caddy reached out and knocked on the door, hoping she wouldn't be disturbing the girl. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
AIKO & PLUTO:
Aiko awoke in a beautiful room with walls of white marble. A woman she vaguely recognized sat at her bedside. "Mama...?" Her dark eyes focused on the girl lying in the bed. "Shh, shh, honey. Take it easy. You need your rest." "Where am I?" "You made it. You're with me in Thrae." Pluto smiled softly down at her daughter. "It is so nice to be able to speak with you. But I can ony stay for a short while. You are here to help a group of senshi. Your powers are coming to you. That is why you are so weak. You made the trip without them. I'm so proud of you." "What about Deucalion?" "I need to know what you saw and what happened." "I didn't really see much of anything besides lots of light. There was a lot of whispering, then screamimg. A gust of wind came, and he was gone." Aiko wore a pained expression on her face at the memory. "It's alright, he will be returned when he is ready. Trust me." She leaned over and kissed Aiko's forehead while the young girl drifted back to her dreams. Setsuna whispered," I must leave you now. Watch out for the princess and the other senshi, your experience in the training you got on Earth will help them along. Take care my darling." ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
BACK WITH AMAYA AND ARCADIA:
Amaya was shocked. * Is that really compassion in his eyes, or has he gotten used to putting on a good show. But it seemed so real... maybee he really is sorry. Lady Pluto* Just as she thought that she was being dragged away by the Princess. * The Princess is a Senshi... isnt that ironic. The hier to the thrown will probably be fighting in some war.* She laughs at the thought.* " So tell me... who exactly is this lady Pluto person you mentioned earlier?" Caddy looked at Sailor Styx and flashed a grin. "Lady Pluto is what *I* call her. She's Sailor Pluto. She's a senshi, too. But not of this dimension. Though she and Lady Trinity travel the dimensions and watch over certain worlds. She's been a friend of my mother's for awhile now. She watches over the Gate of Time and rarely leaves. But she felt that all this was important enough to leave the Gate for awhile," she said. She nodded her head to the door of the room they stood in front of. "Inside there is her daughter. I've overheard Lady Pluto and Mother speaking of her before. She's a senshi, too. Or will be... I'm not too sure on everything just yet. Mother thinks I shouldn't be involved. But I am. And oh would she throw a fit if she found out," the young princess rambled on. "But Father knows that I must do what I have to do. Which is sort of why Mother cannot find out about my being Sailor Lunaria. She'll find out soon enough, but I have to prove to her first that I can do it," she continued on still. Caddy finally stopped and looked at the senshi before her. "Did I mention that my name's Caddy and I hate the name Arcadia?" she asked. " Princess, your Mother would have good reason for you not getting involved in such things. You _are_ the heir to throne are you not. If you were to be killed in battle it would leave your parents without a child to take the Throne when they pass to Eternity. If that happens Chaos shall pour across the land like a raging Tempest. I doubt that even the Senshi would be able to protect this World from that." Without missing a beat, Caddy turned to Sailor Styx and stared at her calmly. "And what if the senshi and soldiers were to be defeated by Amarande? There would BE no throne to inherit. Right now, we need all the help we can get and if I was chosen to fight by the Ancients, then so be it," she said. She was about to go on, but she was interrupted by the door opening.

DEUCALION:
In the beginning, there was Darkness. A Darkness, not complete, but with swirls of color and patterns that dazzled a person. It existed in complete chaos. The utter randomness was near impossible, but for the creator of this, it was but child's play. Next came the task of piercing through the Darkness and creating Order and Light. No easy task considering the state of things. "Ah crap!" And then Deucalion finally opened his eyes. "What in Hades?!" he cursed. Looking around, he noticed his surroundings which were not all that promising. "Cannons, firearms (kinda primitive)" he thought, "uniforms, an open battlefield, lotsa smoke and cavalry...waitasec....cavalry? When was the last time Earth had cavalry? Dammit! I'm lost again! I HATE being lost in time. Last time this happened I almost wiped out the USSR by killing the czar." He sighed heavily and tried to remember what had happened. "Oh yeah, I was with Sailor Aurora and we were about to head to Thrae." He sighs once again. "Well, this is what I get for not concentrating on the task at hand. Why the devil do they have to make those Sailor uniforms so short?!" With a sort of resolve dedicated to a man who knew he would have nothing to do for a while, Deucalion got up off of the floor (pausing to notice the the large rock that his head had been deposited on....and then cursing at it) and headed towards shelter to wait for Time to come and get him. Or at least he tried to. That was until his ears picked up a cannonball whistling straight toward him. Unhuman or not, he was not about to take a cannonball to his already damaged head. Nonchalantly, he quickly forged a mallet out of psychoplasm. The air near him quickly became charged with energy as his will honed the energy into matter. And with practiced care, he swung the mallet and deposited the cannonball deep into the ground of the future site of the Crystal Palace in Tokyo, Japan. Engraved on it were these words:
I Bid You All One Last Farewell, Chibi-Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, Pluto, My King and Liege, Endymion, And Last But Certainly Not Least, My Queen and Guardian of This World, Serenity.
Yours Forever, Deucalion.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I hate the mist." This was the foremost thought on Deucalion's mind as he meandered through the halls of time searching for where he wanted to go. "I hate the fog." This was the second most prominent thought on his mind. "This is absolutely amazing," he thought, "I know it's time and all but couldn't they have made this place just a LITTLE bit more user friendly? I mean, it wouldn't be too hard to put lamps lining the halls with nice, clean flourescent lights in them would it? Just some nice lights. Instead they choose fog and mist all over the place. Some trees would make this place look a LOT nicer and I bet if we put....." So continued this train of thought for a while. Deucalion had been lost in Time for what seemed like weeks to him but it IS Time so who can tell right? During this time he had been lost he'd had some interesting escapades. For instance there was that one instance in what seemed to be post-modern London, England. It was quite strange really because nobody seemed to notice him despite his strange dress and appearance. There was fog there too. Anyway, Deucalion had had this run in with some fiendish character who went by the name Jack. They'd had a little scuff and in the end Cal lost a bit of his cool and malleted him off to Antarctica via Psychoplasm Airways. He was a really evil sort. Absolutely devilish in every way possible. Cal heard he'd been quite a mean person so he did away with him. In any case, Deucalion was back wandering the halls of Time again looking for the door that led to Thrae thinking about the decor and how he would complain to Pluto about this place. "....and maybe some art on the walls. Ok. Let's try some other door. Hopefully it'll be Thrae." And with that he stepped through the ornate door that marked another dimension/time.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Aiko awoke to a chittering outside her door. She listened for a while, waking up a little. *Who's Amaran-whatever?* she thought to herself. She finally gathered enough energy to drag herself out of bed and walk to the door. She had been dressed in a long white night gown. She slowly opened the door and peaked out. There were to young girls. One, about her age, and the other seemed to be a little younger. "Hello?" she said quietly. Caddy grinned at the girl who had appeared. "Greetings. I am Princess Arcadia," she said, curtsying. She straightened up and grinned. "But please, call me Caddy," she said. She grabbed Sailor Styx by the arm and dragged her into the room with her, moving right on past Aiko, apologizing. "I'm sorry if I come off as rude, but it is imperative that I speak with you about all of this now," Caddy said, pacing the room. "We're all new at this... and I apologize beforehand for any inconvenience this might impose upon either of you. But Thrae is under attack and we have been chosen by the Ancient Powers. I, too, am a senshi. Sailor Lunaria, to be exact. But my mother, Queen Arcadia, cannot know of this fact. I IMPLORE you to speak nothing of my being chosen," she begged both girls, pausing to look at them. * I wish she would stop pulling me around like this. I can walk.* Amaya nodded in greeting to Aiko. She then returned her gaze to the Princess. " I will do as you ask.. as much as i dont like it... you are a fellow Senshi. And we Senshi must stick together." Aiko lays one hand over here head. "Umm..... ok, Caddy? Calm down. I'm still a bit woozy. First off, I'll intoduce myself." She sticks out her hand." Hi, my name is Aiko Haya." As the younger girl stuck her hand out, I strange wave of light flickered and grew between their outstreched fingers. Aiko could feel the warm light radiate throughout her body as it started to envelope her. Arcadia and Amaya stared in wonder. When Aiko looked down for a moment, she had been transformed into the Sailor uniform she had worn on earth. It had been the same as her mothers because her power was from a part of the same orb Setsuna carried. Suddenly, the fuku transformed. She was standing in a new unifrom. The front bow and skirt were silver, she had a long black cape and thigh-high blak leather boots. The light grew brighter and she was again standing in her night clothes. The other Senshi's jaws dropped. Then Caddy giggled. "We better get you dressed. You feelin better yet?" Aiko was still a bit tired, yet strangely energized. "Yeah, so, what do people around here generally wear? I don't think I came prepared." she smiled at the two girls. Caddy grinned even more and looked at what the older girl was wearing. "Well I suppose you could just wear the nightgown.. or- ooh!" she suddenly squealed. She looked down at herself and then looked at Sailor Styx. "Uh, I hate to sound like such a ditz, but how about some bonding time? Care to do a little shopping in Thrae?" she asked with a grin. "Cuz you're going to need a whole new wardrobe... and you, if you're going to stay in the palace, that is, are going to need a few things, too," she said, turning to Styx. "But you don't have to stay in the palace of course. It's just an offer and besides, this little trip will be on me," she said, her grin becoming wider and wider. "We can even sneak out!" she added with a giggle. And oh how Caddy loved to sneak out of the palace... * Stay at the Palace?* Amaya looked a little confused. * Well it does seem logical tom have the Senshi all stay in one place. Theyd be able to get out and fight quicker. Wait! did she just say sneak out?* " I will take you up on the offer of staying at the Palace. However sometime within the next day I would like to return home and get things straightened out with my Aunt and Sister. I did leave rather abrubtly. Oh and if you dont mind me asking, Since when does a Princess have to sneak out of her own Palace?" Princess Arcadia nodded her afirmation to Styx's words. "Yeah, we can even have someone drive you out there if you wish. And yes, I DO have to sneak out because my parents don't let me out without at least five guards as my personal escort," she said. The princess made a face and then rolled her eyes. "And they're never any fun. So now I just sneak out. I know this palace like the back of my hand... which I SHOULD since I've been cooped up in here for the majority of 15 years," she said. Caddy sighed and then looked to Aiko. "SO! Who's hungry? I'm sure I can get the kitchen to whip up a really great meal and we don't even have to eat with my parents," she giggled. Amaya nodded. " I wouldnt mind something to eat before we head out. " *Hmmm... I wonder if there is a reason why the King and Queen treat their daughter like a baby. Well we will find out sooner or later. In battle* Amaya began to fiddle around with the key that was hanging from her neck. She wished she new more about it .. what it did and how it was formed. she could however sense the magickal qualities radiating from it. Arcadia grinned and, in a flurry of the material of her dress, was out the door. "I'll be back!" she called, disappearing through the maze of coridoors. She was on a mission to find food and some normal clothes for Aiko to dress into.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Okay," thought Cal. "This had better be the right door or the natives are going to have a dilemma to deal with....ME!" And so, Deucalion stepped from the foggy depths of time. Into the foggy depths of a pre-dawn morning. It's quite interesting how very people will hear you if you're screaming obscenities in fog. "*CENSORED* *CENSORED* *CENSORED* O Whatever Deities May Be!!! Why dost thou torture me so?!" All around was fog. There was a spattering of mist here and there but to the untrained eye, it was all fog. And a dense fog at that. After getting himself up off of his knees, Deucalion found out just how dense that fog was by making himself intimately acquainted with a few trees nearby (although that was unknown to Deucalion). "I hate when I run into things like that. Last time I hit something that hard was when I was dragged w/ the girls shopping back on Earth." he thought. After discovering his whereabouts and getting his bearings, Cal finally decided on a direction and, carefully avoiding any foggy spots that might be trees, struck out at a brisk pace. After walking for a few hours he saw in the distance what appeared to be a castle of some sort reminiscent of old English castles. "Man, that's kinda interesting. There's a castle out here. But it seems like there's no one around here. Doesn't seem like there's much life around here at all. So why would a castle be out here in the middle of nowhere?" Suddenly the entire image of the castle flickered and gave way to another vision. No longer was this a grandiose, antique castle but now it was an enormous fortress geared entirely toward destruction. The size was different of that of the castle as was everything else. This new building in front of Deucalion was armed to the teeth with 20th century modern artillery and weapons but still had some older style weapons. Whatever it's purpose, this place was definitely well defended. On top of the intimidating picture of the fortress was the small flares of light patrolling atop the walls of the place that connotated the auras of people. Within the auras were the definite taints of something evil at work. Again the image flickered, faster than the blink of an eye, and once again, the facade of the old-time castle was back in place. "Well, I don't know where this is or what just happened but I'd say it's Thrae just by the luck of Pluto. Or more accurately, not luck, but plotting." He sighed gustily. "I suppose I should be a good 'good guy' and go investigate what's going on here. Man, I hate having to jump into something without knowing what's going on. Oh well, duty calls." And so, Deucalion slowly and stealthily made his way toward whatever lay ahead.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Night had fallen and Arcadia had ordered a royal feast for the senshi. In the morning, before Sol's rays touched Thrae, they would be riding to the borders to beat back Amarande's forces. Princess Arcadia sat at her father's right, Aiko beside her, and Amaya on Aiko's right. Caddy sat silently, not hungry, while her mother watched on from her place at the other end of the table with the Royal Advisors spread out in the all the other seats. There was a flash of light that lit up the room for a moment. A woman with pink hair, dressed as a senshi with pastel colors, regarded the room with lavender eyes. She held a silver staff and smiled softly. "Greetings, Highnesses," she said with a respectful bow of her head. Caddy stared in utter shock. Arcadia, too, looked surprised. Akalverin's jaw dropped, but he quickly recovered. It was Sailor Trinity. "I've come to guide another senshi to your door," she said with a smile, pointing her staff sideways a bit. A portal opened and a senshi walked through, looking a bit baffled. The portal and Trinity both disappeared before any words were said. "Greetings," Akalverin said, being the first to be able to speak. "I am King Akalverin of Thrae. My wife, Queen Arcadia," he said, motioning to where his beloved sat. The woman nodded her head a bit, a smile showing upon her lips. "Our daughter, Princess Arcadia," he added, motioning to Caddy. "And two of your fellow senshi. Aiko Haya and Amaya Utagi," he said, motioning to each girl respectively. "And you are...?"
