Oh, how I long to know more about this woman!� (For I am, indeed, a female, and no, you cannot marry me�I�m too young for you; it would never have worked out anyway. It�s not a reflection on you as a person, though. I hope we can still be friends). 7/27/04: Have yet to add plethora of Lupin/Tonks links as promised, but other developments have occured. Front page is reorganized; Might and Write is being constructed, and new livejournal is linked. Yay for me. *waves a little flag dispiritedly*
5/31/04: Day Three of the "Let's See If We Can't Read Every Single Piece of Lupin/Tonks Fic in Existance" experiment has gone off leaving me feeling rather silly, and I can't seem to get rid of this ridiculous grin...

"Oh, why thank you for asking; I can assuredly assure all my loyal readers and fans that I am definitely in a happy place right now. Regrettably, I seem to have lost most of my braincells in the storm of fluff I'm subjecting myself to, but otherwise I feel v. v. comfortable."
5/12/04: Obscure British Actors and How to Appreciate Them...what more is there to say? My excuse to look at gorgey pics of Ioan Gruffudd after a nerve-jangling day. God love the Brits.

Last night, in the Brown Chicken Pub, the needs of Horatians great and small were becoming more apparent:

As midnight drew closer, even the best of us could no longer hold back:
dasNdanger: I need a Kentucky-born, part-Cherokee, feather duster-stuffing man who�s last name means �Idiot� in German!!!
What does this all mean? Well, it means that if you�re a Hornblower fan (and especially if you�re Most Perverse, as at least one of us has been officially proclaimed) you need to go to horatians.org and join in. I know, I�m having a surge of fan pride. But hey, why be fanatically obsessed if you can�t network with other fanatic obsessives?
The Hornblower pages will be some time coming up�they�re taking me a while to construct. In the meantime, I�ve added some more terms to the Fan Fiction Lexicon, added a Lupinisms page (which will be updated with lots of more Lupinisms and fan fiction quotes soon) in The Lupin Fascination, and some more Lupinfic links, too: the Small Snippets series by Lady Twatterby; and Strange Condition and Midnight Delivery by Lady Atropos (yours truly). Under construction at the moment: Obscure British Actors and How to Appreciate Them, and a new section on the main page: Paraphernalia, where I will be constructing pages about my school life and my crazy, lovable friends, as well as an archive of most of the fan fiction I�ve written.

Oh, how strange and new it will be to have a home(page) after my years of restless wandering! Lo! the anxiety of commitment and the prospect of settling down! However, my Bookmarks list was becoming more and more like a miniature web directory anyway, and calamitous situations call for drastic solutions. I will be creating a compendium of pages in my new home, soon, including (but not limited to) segments dedicated to:
Horatio Hornblower, ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, Buster Keaton, Welsh, movies and filmmaking, obscure British actors and how to appreciate them, pirates and the Caribbean, the world of fan fiction, Remus Lupin (a.k.a. everybody�s favorite lycanthropic professor: �but he�s a nice werewolf��), Lady Barbara (because, really, she deserves her own page), mythological creatures and the history of magic, and Spam.*
