As I sit on the edge of sanity,
I scream out onto the world,

As a child in school taunted and teased,
I sat alone but in my mind I screamed,
" LET ME BE NORMAL."

All I wanted was to fit in,
Just to make you happy,
"ARE YOU HAPPY NOW."

No Acceptance
No pleasure
No love
"WHEN IS IT MY TURN."

You don't know me,
You don't own me,
"GET AWAY FROM ME."

I was the one you didn't notice,
The one you pushed aside,
"LOOK AT ME."

See what you have made,
See what you turned me into,
"DO YOU THINK OF ME AS A FREAK."

This is to the girls,
The ones who turned up their noses,
"I AM BETTER THEN YOU."

This is to the boys,
The ones who thought I wasn't good enough to date,
"I AM GOOD ENOUGH."

This is to the women,
The ones who looked at me with pity,
"I NEED NO PITY."

And this is to the men,
The ones who didn't look twice,
"I AM MORE WOMAN THEN YOU'VE EVER WANTED."

"WHY CAN'T YOU SEE ME FOR ME?"
