04-08-2008 Ok, I know, it's been a long time since I updated, but I had dropped out of the whole
Vampire thing because I had done too much at
once and got bored. However, a friend of mine
helped me to rekindle it: she has no interest
in Vampires in general, but a friend of hers
convinced her to read the Twilight
series by Stephenie Meyer. It's a good series
even for those who don't obsess over Vampires,
because it's not horror, nor does it have
over-the-top gore (not that I like over-the-top gore, myself).
It's a romance between a Vampire
and a human, an almost forbidden union,
which is part of what makes it appealing
to so many. I have added these 'new'
Vampires to the species page, so check
that out. I will also be editing and,
perhaps, writing new Vampire 'essays'.
So keep your eyes peeled in the next few
months. The fourth book in the series
doesn't come out until August, and the
movie is due for December, so I will be
obsessively studying, editing and adding
to keep myself occupied in the interim. Browse around!
