Hi there, well here comes the hard bit really..
well firstly Lady Aife is a name I found whilst trawling through books in order to find a screen name when I first went on line and it has kind of stuck...really I am a mild mannered 29 year old with alot of time on her hands.
mmm it is always so hard to think of what to write, so I guess I would be described as a sad role play nerd pottering through life and trying to get by, I live in England and mostly enjoy it here, but for those who want to know right now, it's not raining. *grin*
so to make things brief..
job: information support assistant in External Funding Support for the city council, hey its a living!!!.
hobbies: role playing, reading, listening to music, watching films and TV, hanging out with friends and getting drunk.
roleplay: Vampire the Masquerade, Werewolf the Apocalypse, Mage the Ascension, Alternity, Shadow Run, Cyberpunk, Kult
Books: Marion Zimmer Bradley, Terry Pratchett, Sara Douglass, Robert Jordan, Peter F. Hamilton, Anne McCaffery and many many others....
Music: Sisters of Mercy, Nine Inch Nails, Type O Negative, Inkubus Sukkubus, Metallica ( but only up to the Black Album), Slayer, Pantera, The Primitives and more in the same vein...always tempted by some nice Celtic music as well
films: most sci fi and fantasy type stuff...plus...Face/Off, Con Air, Preaching to the Perverted, Battle Royal, Seven I think you get the idea..
So ok I hang out with loads of people, first of all theres Bex asnd Jonno, two of the greatest, funniest people i know, a joy to hang out with, then theres people from work, well ok, we all work for the council, but not in the same office!! it started as part of our corporate intranet, then a monthly drink. this month is the first AGM opposed to MGM lordy lordy!! What a difference a year makes huh Many of them are in bands including The Capones, who do indeed rock!!
mmm well for those who want to know I have a 2:1 BA (hons) degree in History of Art and Design ( and for those out there not aware that's the second highest grade you can get.)font>
For the nosey i am currently going out with a rather nice chap by the name of Gordon, despite meeting via a internet chat room is is lovely *g* he is also a roleplayer, which to be fair is what got me talking to him in the first place. we share far too much in common. Three months today and counting!!
I also have the most wonderful nephew and neice in the world not that i am prejudiced at all...
