| Tarot The Deck There are 78 cards in a tarot deck 22 Major Arcanca and 56 Minor Arcana. In the the Minor Arcana there are four suits wands, swords, cups, pentacles. Each suit has a King, Queen, Knight, and Page and the card go from the Ace(one) to ten. Not all deck are the same some decks call pentacles coins or disks. In other decks the instead of having a King, Queen, Knight, and Page there is a Knight, Queen, Prince, Princess. Learnig The Meaning Of The Cards There are different methods for learning the meanings of the cards the best is doing readings. Most tarot decks come with little books that tell you the meaning of the cards this is useful so rember it's there. Another method is to take a card out of your deck and look at the picture on the card and try to figure out what it means then look in the book that comes with your deck and see how your interpertations differed and how they were similar. Doing a Reading Now that you have a basic understanding of what the cards mean it is time to do a reading. Take your deck shuffle it if you are reading someone they need to shuffle the cards as well why you shuffle think of the question you wish to ask the cards (if u are reading cards for someonelse they should do the same). Then when you finish shuffling the cards draw one from the bottom or top if you draw from the bottom of the deck do so for the rest of the reading and vice vera for drawing from the top. You can do a three reading a one card reading or even the whole deck. |
| Pendulums Pendulums are one the easiest methods of divination. A pendulum is a string with a object hanging on its end. Pendulums can be very elaborate or very simple you can even make your own. Using Your Pendulum The first step to lerning how to use your pendulum is to get used to holding and how it feels when it swings. Swing your pendulum clockwise and observe how it feels and looks when i does so then spin it counterclockwise and observe. Now that you have seen the way the pendulum moves it is time to learn which direction is yes and which is no on your pendulum. Make sure your is still and ask a question to which you no the answer is yes (Are my eyes (your eye color)? obsever which direction the pendulum moves then ask a a question you know the answer is no and observe the direction the pendulum swings. Now that you know which dirrection is yes and which is no you can ask yes or no questions. There are many other things you can do with a pendulum but i will not go into them here. |
