| In the early 80's when punk rock, colored hair and Mtv were new and all the rage Hasbro, Sunbow and Mtv got together to create a cartoon to get kids into Mtv. They came up with the idea of a singer with a secret identity and a male band. A rival band great songs and a story line. kinda Mtv and soap opera all in one for kids. |

| Originally called M, she was a pink haired singer with an all male band. Instead of a roadster she had a jumbo jet. But there were many changes before M would hit the air.... Her daytime name was Misty, then Morgan..but that was about to be changed. |
| The first change was her name. You can't copyright a letter so her name became Jem. Then her real identity became Jerrica. Her all male band became all female. Aria on drums, Jada on guitar, kimber on keys. The jet became a roadster. More changes were to take place. A lady named Rue had her name changed to Roxy. |
| The names and instruments were next. Aria became Aja, and she went to guitar. Jada became Chandra then Shana and went to drums. KImber stayed Kimber and stayed on keys. They mystery that still remains..The M at the end of Kimber's key guitar. Was it put there on purpose? or were the dolls made before the changes were made. Only the creators know. |
