STORYLINE #4 SYNOPSIS: (Story premise as of January 22, 2006) Time: April 2005 (Earth time). Place: Los Angeles, CA, U.S.A., Planet Earth, Solar System in the Milky Way Galaxy. Emily (Yahoo! I.D. auburn_clairvoyance) and Deputy Sheriff Sugarman are called to investigate a 20-year-old "cold-case" (unresolved/unexplained) in which a troupe of female models have been missing from a reputable photography studio in Los Angeles. What prompts the case to re-open after 20 years of no leads or clues as to the location of the models? Another missing person's case reported by the same studio in April 2005. The first clue in this case is the substance poured into the drink of the person (yes, you guessed it, another model) that went missing: the substance is of unknown origin, its components unlike anything on Earth. When an L.A. forensics team makes this discovery, one of its scientists contacts Realm Territories (who, by now, has a reputation for specializing in things "not of this Earth"). Realm Territories is able to successfully determine that the substance is a narcotic potent enough to sedate a human being yet has properties that can change the physical make-up of a human being (or at least make that human being think they have been changed, in which case the substance would be classified as a hallucinogenic). There's more to the story, however, because Emily and Deputy Sheriff Sugarman eventually interrogate a photographer and stylist who's currently stationed in the city (Yahoo! I.D. silent_ripper); this photographer/stylist provides them with information on the fashion industry and its "underbellic" going-ons, so much so that he might even be considered to become a "ladder" in this aspect of the fashion world for Realm Territories. Throughout the story, the photographer/stylist carries a flirtatious demeanor, being very flamboyant, suave, and charming in public, while at home he keeps to himself; his brain is sharp and he is constantly in search of an exciting business venture. He might even attempt to flirt with Emily at some point. And how will she react, considering that her life (which lacks considerably in the social and love department, therefore putting her in an existence/lifestyle similar to that of a Catholic nun) revolves around four things and four things only: the search for her half-sister, Victoria Elaine, the search for the murderers of her mother, Cecilia Anne, her abilities, her work, and all the questions amongst them?
