These are the first Terry Brooks I ever read. They completely captivated me!! An absolutely wonderful trilogy! I spent weeks reading "The Sword of Shannara" to my children, one chapter per night. They loved it too. It compelled them to read on their own...... If you are parents, you know already know how important that can be.
