I found this poem while surfing the web one day looking for nursing graphics (which are very limited).
This caught my eye and it reflects exactly how I feel some days!

A Nursing Students Life

To be a nurse has been my dream for oh so many years
And now I want to find out why - as I sit among my tears
My house looks like it came unglued, the kids are underfed
Because I learned to give a bath and how to make a bed
The laundry's tired of waiting round, its now out for revenge
Still I can give a bedpan - but the emesis depends
My social life has gone astray which I can not recoup
While I was learning urine tests and how to form a group
My bed and I are strangers since we have no time to meet
But I have memerized my terms and even studied sleep
Between the nerves and studies, I wonder what I've done
My self esteem used to rate a 6 and now its down to one
From inside of this disaster - one point is very clear
I fight the urge to stand and yell "What am I doing here?"
