Once upon a time, there was a man named PeteD. He decided to put a chat site on
the World Wide Web so that people from all over the world could meet and greet. He created "Talker", which became a huge success, and so he was deemed "The Creator". Talker became a second home for some, and for others, just a place to escape thereal world and chat with friends.

Then came a day when his sever pulled the chat site off, which caused anger and disbelief among all who grew to love this little site. With loyalty and determination,
many emails were sent to the sever administrator expressing our anger and concerns. Well, we won. Talker lived again, but only in spirit. The name of our little chat site was changed to "Speak Easy". We all thought that things would remain as they were and that there would be no more problems, but we were wrong.

In early February of 1998, we were stunned to discover that "The Creator" was leaving his place of business to take on a more exciting and challenging job. Our beloved chat site was pulled off the internet soon afterwards.

There were many questions asked, but the main question people asked was, "Where
do we go now?" Where would we all meet? We needed a new place to call home here on the net. So, although Talker and "The Creator" will forever remain in our hearts with the fondest of memories, we now have a new place to call home. Our dear friend, The Everlasting Asassin, was able to take our chat site and place it on his server.

If you've been there before, I sure hope you come back. But if you've never been
there, I urge you to stop by. You'll meet some really great people there, no matter
what room you choose to go in. If you do come in and want to chat, look for me
in the bar. If I'm not there, there will be someone there that knows me and can pass a message along to me.

What can I say about State of Insanity? Only that it is the only true alternative online community. If you do decide to go there, just let me say be prepared for anything. This is where people who have dark desires and/or fantasies can play them out anonomously. Depending on the type of person you are, you will either love State of Insanity or hate it. I won't give my personal opinion, but rather let you make up your own mind.
