Oh my love, keep the light on in the window
For I'm winding my way back to you
I've traveled far and I've traveled wide
But my heart has been faithful and true

The lamp you�ve kept burning for me
I've seen in my dreams every night
Now it�s beckoning me ever onward
I'm heading home to make things right.
My wandering days are now over
Never again will I roam
I've found that what I was searching for
Was waiting right there at home
.
So darling, keep the curtains open wide
And the light shining brightly for me
Soon I�ll be right there by your side
And in your arms, I will always be.
