| Hullo! This is the Official Unofficial Fanclub Tribute thing to the wonderful Markus Stenz (aka Stenzi). He is the conductor of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and he is partly German. We like him a lot. |
| STENZI SITINGS: We first saw Mr Stenz at our first combined rehearsal with the adults' choir for Mahler's 8th Symphony (Mahler was a dude. Funeral marches followed this guy I swear). Anyhoo, back to the point. We saw him lots more in rehearsals (with both the adult choir and the MSO, but we never met him. BUT! After the second performance we ran into him, and he signed various things for a rather large group of us. He said 'Brava!' a lot. |
