We are forever drifting
In the shallow sea
No way to move our limbs
To move us to the shore.
And the heavens light like fire
And burn the cold rain to the seafloor
Carry us eternally
Away from heavens shore
And the heaven's fire burns
And swallows me whole
There is not eternal pain
Only the gentle movement of the sea...
Slowly shifting waves of time
Echoes off the empty plain
I can see now land around
And yet my hand brushes ground
No more can I see the sky
The smoke of its fire has filled my eyes
And the heavens light like fire
And burn the cold raind to the sea floor
Carry us into eternity
Away from heaven's shore
And the heaven's fire burns
Yes, heavenfire burns...
...We are forever drifting...
