Chapter 15
Kendra rolled over onto her back and rubbed her eyes. Where the hell was she? It was dark. The last thing she remembered was—she shot up. She was going to kill him. Where was the bastard?
There. Floating in the air, next to some guy with blue hair. She glared at the unconscious body. She’d kill him. She felt a little nauseated as she stood and finally saw Lexa glaring at a woman.
Lady Lilith. The Demon behind the entire problem. That was the REAL person she wanted to kill. While thinking revenge, she staggered towards Daenna.

He loved her, he really did. And he didn’t want to see her die.
But now, he would do nothing. He would only watch as she drew her sword. As the crystal glowed. He would only watch as Lilith sent that first blow of power that knocked her off her feet and sent her ramming into the wall. But there was nothing he would do. This wasn’t his battle anymore.

A pang ran through David’s soul. She was hurt. He fought his way through the cobwebs of his mind. He had to wake up. He had to help her.
He had to.

Lexa shook her head as she stood. The blow had taken the wind out of her. Miraculously, her sword was still in her hand.
"You cannot stop me." Lilith hissed, "I am more powerful than you."
"I will end this!" Lexa screamed. Another flare of pain shot over her spine, where the tattoo should have been. "I will defeat you! I WILL win!" Light shot out from her and surrounded all five warriors, each glowing a different color. Suddenly, they were all behind her. David to her left, Kevin to her right. Daenna behind Kevin, and Kendra behind David. They floated off the floor slightly. Lexa drew in their powers through the thin strands of light that connected them all.
"I call upon the Earth! I call upon the Sun! I call upon the Stars! I call upon the Fire!" Lexa yelled. She felt herself rise off the floor and she knew what was happening. She closed her eyes.

Virtue watched silently as the warriors, surrounded by light, circled around Lilith, all their powers going to Lexa, who began to rise above them all.
Lilith hadn’t moved. Virtue had helped them all by freezing her in place, using all his strength. It was the best he could do. It was all he could do.

Lexa’s eyes flew open, "I call upon the Moon!"
There was a flash of light and a band of light shot out from each warrior below her, connecting each other.
There were becoming the triangle. They would win this time. She drew in more of their strength.
"I AM THE ULTIMATE GUARDIAN!" She screamed as a beam of light surrounded her and shot to the floor, covering Lilith. Lilith cried in pain.
The light exploded.
