I love to read; I like to paint miniatures, and I'm a published poet. My reading interests run mostly to fantasy, some sci-fi, an occasional mystery, poetry, and some miscellaneous other, including works in French and Spanish. I also love to sing, enjoy dancing (even if it's alone in the living room), sleeping late, and hanging out with friends and family. I love word games and the occasional hand of cribbage. One of my latest interests is playing D & D (3.5, Forgotten Realms) and painting miniatures with a small amount of skill.
I'm currently owned by an ugly, bossy goldfish, two gentle and unassuming zebrafish, a lunatic cat and two handsome and energetic sons. Our home is overrun by laundry, books, dice, Legos, and a collection of hippopotami.
My history is varied and interesting. I've had several jobs, some of which I even enjoyed. My friends are few, but treasured for their unique perspectives and quirky senses of humor.
