Past Girlfriends: Gil's first love was an israeli girl named Hila. When he turned 10 he flew her to Munich to see her. He also used to have a girlfriend named Tina but she dumped him when she gave him the altumatume of "me or the music darling!" he told her "I can't choose, you are just as  important to me as my music!" He still says his heart was broken for a long time over her. He went out with Bj Carter during the making and before of "If You Only Knew" but it is unclear why they broke up.  His last girlfriend was his choice for the break up because he was threatened by the girls ex-boyfriend that he would kill the girl with the all famous "If I can't have her no one can" so he broke up with her even though he cared, he left her for her safty. It has been qouted that he still wishes that "he hadn't let that fish go."

Abi and Easther were the first Israeli singers that made it on the British pop charts with the hit "Cinderella Rockafeller".  Gil's mother lives only a few streets away from him and his father.
