FRIDAY EVENING
Friday Night Movies! Once you help out your parents setting up camp and have filled your little bellies with a hearty meal, the movies will begin at dusk. So pull up a hay bale, sit back and relax. Our first feature will be for you the young at heart. Then it's off to bed with you for a good night's rest for tomorrow's adventures. See Arts & Science Page for more Activities.
SATURDAY
10AM OPENING COURT
Childrens' Pavillion! Located near the Arts & Science Pavillion and open all weekend for children's acitivites. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children. Ages 6 & under must be accompanied by an adult all times. There will be games, crafts, storytelling, puppet theatre and other amusements for the children. Details will be available upon checking in at event. The pavillion is open to children of all ages.
Youth Combat! Will begin immediately following opening court. We will start with Children's Tournament with (4) age divisions 6 & under, 7-9 yrs, 10-13 yrs & 14-16 yrs. There will be prizes for Tournament Champions, Most Noble Deed and Most Dramatic Death. For Instructions on how to make your own armor click here.
Treasure Hunt! Fame and fortune is yours' to be found. There is Treasure of gold buried deep beneath the ground. We will divide the treasure hunters' up into even teams. You must work together as a team or ye will never find the treasure. (This event is planned for after lunch at the Children's Pavillion Area, so lend an ear when the Herald announces the start of the treasure hunt)
SUNDAY
Stick Pony Joust! Mount & ride your valiant steed, point your lance with precise aim and you may claim the prize in our Childrens' Stick Pony Joust. This is a fun game for children of every age. This tournament will commence at 11am sharp! (Will be announced by the Herald)
Children's Treasure Chest Castle Battle! Weather permitting!! There will be two teams, Defenders of the castle & the Invaders! Each team will get one water baloon per fighter, and will take turns at playing Invaders & Defenders. Each team will catapult their water baloons at each other and the team with the least amount of casualties wins! (Please have children wear garb that will not ruin & bring a towel). Shots will be determined by dampness! (In the Afternoon, To Be Announced) |
