You rush after Ebony. She dodged through thick bushes and large trees. She ducked under large tree branches and she dissapeared out of sight. You gasped and stopped at the tree. You lean on the large tree to rest. Ebony's head peaked out. "C'mon!" she shouted and dissapeared again. You duck under the branches too. You gasp in surprise. A large blue serene pond spread in front of you. A river flowed in and out and far off, you could see the river split into little deltas, too many to count. A large meadow surrounded the area, and deep stone walls rose around the place. You were standing on the top of one of the stone walls. It was a little valley embedded in the middle of the ground. A skinny waterfall fell from one the walls. Ebony suddenly let out a whoop and jumped. You gasp, staring at her. She landed with a large splash in the middle of the lake. She waved you to come down. Squeezing your eyes shut and you jumped. Your stomach rose up to your mouth and suddenly you felt wet. You swam to the surface and Ebony grinned. Suddenly a red animal rose to the surface. It head was a horse and feet was a horse. Ebony grinned. You could also see that her back legs were squid feet! Shouting, you scramble back. "Ebony! What are you doing in my lake. And You traveller! Who are you?" asked the creature. "You know very well that this is the only way to get down to your valley," Ebony snorted. "Is not! You know of the path!" it shrieked. Ebony looked guilty. "But it's so fun jumping in like this," she laughed. "Who are you?" she suddenly turned to you and demanded. You stutter out your name and te animal's face barely seem to change. "Another traveller," it said. "She is a Mor'Jarian and lives in this umm, small tropical ocean," Ebony said and pointed to a bright coral reef. "Does 'she' have a name?" you ask. "Yes, she does. She has to tell you herself though," Ebony said and stared at the Mor'Jarian sternly. "Fine! My name is Twilight's Radiant Spectrum," she huffed and quickly swam off "We better go," Ebony said and dashed out of the water. |
