You walk across the big meadow, to come to a path. The mountains were now totally invisable, except for the highest peak. You walk curiously down the path, wondering what will live here. The path was newly made and crooked, like it wanted you to leave or something. Soon you come to a dark tunnel, you peer inside and groan. Suddenly you remembered, the torch Elise gave you. You carefully take the torch out of your bag and it starts flaming again. You step heistantly into the tunnel and begin walking. The torch sent wierd shadows on the rough tunnel walls. A small mouse scittered across your path and you jumped. 'Silly me' You thought to yourself. After what seems like forever, you come to the end of the tunnel. You sigh of relief and blow out the torch. The sunlight streamed across your face, giving you warmth. You looked at the sun and noticed it was... BLUE? 'Not again' you thought. You start walking on the rest of the crooked path. Pretty soon, you came to a wooden fence. You mutter and looked around for the opening. There was none!!! You turn to go back, but you thought, what the heck.... and you scramble over the fence. The meadow was huge. It had lovely willows, and maples and oaks framed around the large meadow. Butterflies flittered past your ear and a river and waterfall stood at your left. To your right was nothing but grass. But wait... A large indent in the ground caught your eye. A rabbit hopped by and so did a couple of baby rabbits.
"Hey you!!" Someone shouts.
You turn around and see a teenage boy. He had black hair and deep green eyes.
"Umm, me?" You ask.
"Yeah you! We been expecting you? What took you so long?"
"E-erm...." You stutter.
The boy strided towards you and stopped when he was in front of you. He looked at you for a moment before talking again.
"I'm Jake, and I am in charge of this meadow. I am hoping for a Chibla from Hunter Valley. I think they are really nice. My sister's Sunset, you've probably met her. She's hoping for a Runner. Anyway, as you know my mother has been taken by those ENEMIES, and brianwashed. We miss her terribly and Ebony said that we could each get a pet. I want a Chibla," he said.
"A Chibla?" You ask.
"It's a sort of animal. I can't explain it. Go to Hunter Valley and they will tell you what it is," Jake said.
"And what's the indent for?" You ask.
"Oh that! That's where my Chibla's gonna live! They have scoops instead of weyrs and they eat fish and other meat. I can't wait to get it!" Jake said.
Jake suddenly drifted off to his on land. You jumped around, waved and shouted, but you couldn't get his attention again. A bit dissapointed, you looked around to see where to go next.
