A large mountain streached out before you. Sighing, you quickly began to climb. You climbed further and further until you reach a rocky ledge. The ledge slanted downwards a bit and off to the distance, you could see a meadow. It was getting a bit stormy. The sky had turned grey and then black. You could hear thunder off to the distance. Crash! A bolt of lightning nearly hit you and you shriek in surprise. Jumping up from your resting position, you quickly ran along the ledge. You suddenly crash into something. A large red unicorn stared at you with deep blue eyes. She snorted and another crash of lightning nearly caught her. She barely flinched though. You stared at her, startled.
"Greetings," she said finally, "I am Mars Flame. Flame of the Sun on Mars."
"Why aren't you frightened of the lightning?" you ask, eyes wide.
"Maybe because I like lightning. We Flame Unicorns use the lightning to protect ourselves," Mars Flame said, snorting a bit.
"Oh," you said, trying to get cover.
"We have another flame living with us," she paused as you dodge another lightning bolt, "if the lightning makes you feel uncomfortable traveller, I will take it away."
You nod fiercly and soon the lightning storm was gone. A shout of laughter rang out suddenly. A large pink adult falme rushed out, her white mane dancing. The flame was chasing a butterfly and she passed you. The flame skidded to a stop and smiled warmly.
"Hullo!" she grinned, "my name's Gentle Flame, Flame of Gentle Thoughts," the flame smiled again and pranced away.
Mars Flame nodded her head and left as well.
