The rolling waves have taken you so far across the sea...
And not even I know when you will return safely back to me.
"Daddy's always bye bye." keeps ringing in my ears.
While strength I am trying to find to control the constant flowing of my tears.
A hug or kiss seems to be all I need to make me feel complete,
But no time soon will your arms hold me tight or your lips to mine gently meet.
Looking at our boys each night, your face much more I see.
Then I lay my head upon my pillow, wondering just how much my sailor is missing Me.
So I pray to to the good lord each night and every day...
For your safe arms and soft kiss to soon return my way.
