Here is another reading that you can do without tarot cards. If you need any help e-mail me and I will see what I can do to help.
With this method you can tell a more detailed fortune. Remove all cards from 2 to 5 from the deck. This will give you a deck or thirty-six cards. Divide the deck into nine equal piles of cards.
Remove the top card from each pile. Arrange them face up so that you have a row or nine cards. Use these to tell your fortune. If you are telling someone else's fortune, have that person arrange the cards.
Nine cards are used because nine is said to be a mystical number. Fortune-tellers say that nine of anything add up to something whole. Together the nine cards are supposed to tell of important events and changes in one period of a person's life.
Each card in a deck has one or more meanings, and some may have as many as four or five. Several of these meanings are given below. A fortune-teller selects the one that he or she feels best suits the question.
Read the cards from left to right in the order in which they are arranged. In trying to understand their meaning, remember that each is part of a complete picture. If you are not sure what a card means, place your hands on it and close your eyes. The fortune-tellers say this will help you to understand it better.
