Today a gold mine landed in my inbox, thanks to Jenny!  She sent me a link to a sketch she had of Amelia of Cleves, which linked to a site filled with images and information about Anne's family!  I can not thank her enough for that!  The site was in German, a little bit of a pain, but I know enough German to work my way around it!

I added a crapload of images to the Group, as well as an at=a-glance database and reader-printer friendly files of Anne's family members.
Check it out!!

I also created some Anne-vs-Amelia images, since there is a Holbein sketch that has been labeled as Anne, but does not look much like her.  So, I am in the process of making a
site comparing and contrasting the two pictures.

The novel is still in the very early drafting stages.  I am still gathering notes and research materials as well as trying to find various portraits, namely those of Anne's brother, William, and father, John.  I have a smal collection of portraits that I hope to include in the book.

I have written parts of chapters of Anne's meeting with Henry, her discussion with her Ladies in Waiting over her marriage bed.

I have also ordered two new books on Anne, and hope to make a trip to the nearest Barnes and Nobles soon to scout out more books.

The cover and main title page are finished, for the most part.

Yes, I used the background and fonts of my cover for the ones on my page.  Saved me a lot of work!  It was enough fun making them the first time around.

Marrying of Anne of Cleves arrived in my mailbox yesterday,  I hope to start reading it soon.  It looks like it will be a vital part of my research.  Another book is expected to arrive later this month.  I plan to hold off my drafting of Anne's early life until I finish the books.

I purchased
Wives of Henry VIII by Antonia Fraser yesterday.  I just finished reading Fraser's chapter on Anne, and was very pleased with it!  Please check the review!

Added
portraits of Anne's father and siblings to the site, with biographies to be posted soon.

Recieved
Anne of Cleves by Julia Hamilton the other day.  Wasn't what I was expecting, but an excellent book nonetheless!  Finished reading it and the review is up!

I also recieved two new portraits of John Frederick of Saxony, husband to Sybilla, and it is posted at the group for now.

Due to lack of bandwidth, I may not add portaits to the site, since my data transfer has exceeded its limit a few times already this week.
