The first thing you notice when Adlana leads you into the grassy courtyard is that one of the dogs has wings! No ordinary dogs are these! Adlana sees you staring agape at the wings, and calls the first dog over. "Angel, come here, sweetie!"
The winged dog comes over gracefully, almost seeming to float, even though she is not flying. She looks up at you a little warily at first, but after a good sniffing, you are deemed acceptable, and her tail wiggles back and forth hopefully. Sensing what she wants, you rub her head and face. |

"Probably wondering about her wings, eh?" Adlana asks with a smirk on her face. "She has a mutation. These dogs are not ordinary dogs, you see, but have a little something special to them."
You admire the beautiful creature, thinking that Angel's brown spotted coat and her brown wings mix perfectly together. She's a wonderful creature, and as Adlana smiles proudly you can tell that she loves her very much.
"I have her pedigree and genetics around here somewhere," Adlana says, and pulls some papers out of her pocket. "Care to look?" |

When you are finished, you hand the paper back to Adlana and give Snow Angel a big hug before moving on to the next dog. She licks your face, as if saying that she understands why you can't stay and pet her forever, and trots away, going back to her former romping and playing. You watch in amazement as she uses her wings to fly a short distance around the courtyard. |
