The setting is right on the lake,amongst beautiful lodge pole pines.There are three surrounding lakes and is a great area for the avid outdoors person who enjoys,hunting, fishing and snow mobiling or just plain quiet.
We built the cabin in1991 there are two bedrooms on the main floor and a loft that has two single beds and storage. The bedroom lights run off a solar panel. The fridge and stove are propane and there are a couple of propane lanterns.
A generator is used for power, to run the pump for water, or appilances vac etc and power tools.There is a tub, a sink and a porta potty, with a small hot water tank,for bathing and dishes.
There are approximately 15 cabins on the lake and a fish camp at the end of the lake. Many of the other owners spend Christmas and New Years at there cabins. The people are friendly but not intrusive.
My favorite time up there was the peace and quiet and the fishing,either by belly boats or our reg.boat. .....Taking my morning coffee out to the dock and listening to the loons and the sound of nature.....In winter curling up by the fire and reading a book. Every season is nice with something different to do.
There was swiming and weanie roasts for the kids when they came for a visit. We even had hummingbirds to watch.
I will always have great memories of this place and what it meant to me.
