| Another�s Notes: In the prologue it was before Starscream joined the Autobots. Well here in Chapter 1, he is an Autobot. There are no changes to the storyline up to �Rescue� so Raven did not play a role until now. My other new humans come enter, in this chapter as well as some of the new Transformers. In the original Transformers there was at least two Moons and since only one Moon (which ended up being Unicron) was shown in the Unicron Battles, I don�t know how many more there are. In this story there are more than one Moon, not sure how many. New names and places: Since the town the kids� live in was never mentioned, except that they live in the high desert, I came up with a place in Colorado with the fictional name of Miners Hideaway, which was created by Hellraiser. I believe they live in the US. There is a science lab mentioned in this chapter. The lab was named by Lady1Venus and therefore is fictional. ////////////////// Chapter 1 Plans? (Starscream is now a temporary Autobot set after �Rescue�) Far out in space, on a far way planet, called Cybertron, lived a civilization of mechanical, intelligent life forms known as Transformers. Two factions know as Autobots and Decepticons, divided the planet through eons of wars and over on one of the planet�s Moons was a neutral group. They were neither Autobot nor Decepticon. Some were created there and later took sides and some stayed neutral. At the Autobot base, a lone Autobot stood in the Command Center, reading some data that was sent from Earth. After Optimus Prime went to Earth to recover the Mini-cons, he�d started to send information and pictures of the planet back. The information sent was about the planet and it�s inhabitants or the war. During wartime no Autobot was able to see a beautiful planet and it was a nice change to see pictures of the planet Earth, home to the Human race. When information was sent, normally there would be messages attached to them on a coded frequency. Some messages had to have a high level of security clearance to be read. While the Autobot was scanning the latest information, a coded message from Earth on an emergency channel appeared with two other messages attached. The messages were addressed to two other Autobots. Pushing a button to separate the messages, the Autobot sent the extra messages out to the ones they were addressed to then attended to the main message, which had a security clearance in which the Autobot had. When the message was downloaded, a voice known as Optimus Prime was heard. �Seadust,� Optimus Prime said. �We could use some back up. Dispatch small handful of Autobots for Earth by shuttle. Megatron may have the warp gate under surveillance. Also have them bring new supplies.� Optimus�s voice sounded very disturbed. �Megatron may have the upper hand now.� The message went static a sign the message was over. Seadust switch off the emergency channel and proceeded to alert all the Autobots who were not in the battlefield. �Autobots in the base.� Seadust said in a female voice. �I am Seadust, leader of the female Autobots. �An emergency message has just arrived from Earth by Optimus Prime. He has requested for a small shuttle of Autobots to dispatch to Earth. Please assemble in the Warp Room in one hour to determine who will be going.� Seadust turned off the intercom and proceeded to the Warp Room. She knew that the messages that were sent down to the other two Autobots would probably meet up with her. She had to decide who was going to go down to the planet. All the Autobots wanted to go but in order keep the Decepticons at bay on Cybertron, only a few could go. If the Decepticons were defeated, Seadust knew that she could convince Optimus Prime to allow all the Autobots to eventually see the beautiful planet. ********* Down on the planet Earth, where the Autobots had landed to find the Mini-cons, three of their new friends, the humans, were outside watching Starscream lashing out with the Star Saber at huge boulders of rock. He seemed to be angry at something. Was it Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots, he was angry at? It seemed to be. Starscream wanted to destroy Megatron when the Autobots broke into the Moon base, which was set up as the Decepticons base and took back all the Mini-cons that they could, except for the Requim Blaster and the Mini-cons the Decepticons used as their partners. Optimus Prime had given Starscream an order to back down or show his true colors and turn back into a Decepticon. Of course, Starscream had chosen the former and now he was questioning his motives. Suddenly the rampaging Transformer stopped and the kids were surprised that he did. �He stopped,� Rad said. �I wonder why?� �Maybe he�s going to throw up his lunch,� Carlos said. �You�re sick, Carlos,� Alexis said. �Maybe he realized that if he kept going, he would have been spotted.� �Doubtful,� Rad came up in defense. �Megatron wouldn�t have cared if more humans were to discover the Transformers or not.� �Well maybe I�ll go ask him.� Alexis climbed down from the rock the kids were standing on and started towards Starscream who had just sat down. �Alexis, are you nuts?� Rad called but she didn�t listen. When she approached the seeker, his head was bent down. She went up between the Star Saber Mini-Cons and spoke out. �Starscream.� Starscream looked up to the sound and saw the human standing near his feet. �Go away!� he snapped. The Mini-Cons left at Starscream�s command leaving him with the human girl. He stared at the girl for several seconds. �You have guts, you know that?� he said to her. �Yeah that what�s Rad keeps saying. You seem distraught.� �You would be to if you were born to be a Decepticon then after millions of years of being one, decided to become an Autobot. And now are questioning of why you switched sides.� �So that�s what bothering you...� �I want to be left alone. I said too much,� he said a little too rough. He stood up and walked away. The girl yelled out to him and he showed no indication that he heard her, though he did. �You might have been a Decepticon for the past millions of years but I noticed that you are nothing like them,� she yelled out at him. �Alexis,� Rad called, running up beside her. �What was that all about?� �Starscream is confused why he left Megatron�s services,� she said. �He�s been a Decepticon all his life, he doesn�t know how to be anything else.� �Well not to change the subject or anything,� Rad said. �We should get inside Optimus wants to talk to us. � The three kids started to head towards the entrance of the base. �I hope it�s not about us not getting our homework done,� Carlos said as they walked. There had been a couple times when the kids had gotten behind in their homework and Optimus was not impressed. The last time they forgot to do their homework, he told them if they didn�t keep up with it, they would be grounded from the base for a week. �Well since that day, I have been getting my work done. So I have nothing to worry about,� Alexis giggled. �Well not everyone gets help from Red Alert,� Carlos said in an irritating tone, ignoring her giggles. Not too far away from the kids was Starscream. When he left the kids, he walked until he was no longer in sight and went back to hide behind a rock. He had turned up his audio receptors and listened to what the kids were talking about. �That girl...� he said to himself out loud when the kids were no longer in hearing range. �She�s nothing like those boys. Though she is young, she�s wiser than she lets on.� ****** When the kids got inside the base, Optimus Prime was waiting for them. Carlos got a little nervous at what the leader of the Autobots was going to say to them, which didn�t go unnoticed by Optimus. Optimus chuckled softly to himself. He did notice the kids weren�t caught up in their homework, well all except for Alexis. He had noticed that she was getting help from Red Alert. Since Smokescreen got hurt, he let the homework slide. �Hey Optimus, you wanted to see us?� Rad said. �Yes. I wanted to thank you all for helping the Mini-Cons as they came through the warp gate the other day.� Carlos released a sigh of breath that he was holding, which again didn�t go unnoticed. Optimus watched the kid closely. �Yeah. Alexis and I helped some of them get comfortable here,� Rad said. Optimus looked at Alexis. �So that is what you guys were doing last night. Then the question I have is how did you get home at such a late hour?� �Sideswipe gave us a ride home,� Alexis said. �If it weren�t for him, we wouldn�t have been able to stay so long.� �That�s good. I wouldn�t have wanted you go leave at such a late hour without someone with you.� �Optimus?� Carlos came up. �For a minute there I thought you were going to get at us about homework.� �Carlos!� Rad rushed out. Optimus laughed at Rad�s outburst. �That�s ok, Rad. I know about the homework and I�m not going to say anything. With Smokescreen being injured, then Starscream joining, it�s taking a toll on everyone, including myself. Now since everything is calming down, you better get the homework down.� With that said and out of the way, Optimus turned and left, leaving a gapping Carlos. Rad looked to Carlos and was about to flame his friend when Alexis ran off after the Autobot leader. �Optimus!� she called out. �Wait for me.� Optimus stopped and watched Alexis caught up to him. �What is it?� �Optimus, there is something in today�s paper that you should know.� Optimus bent down closer to Alexis and held his hand out to her. She stepped into his hand and took out the paper from her backpack. Optimus then continued walking. �It says in here that four small looking robots broke into the Arizona Science Institute. But it doesn�t say what was stolen.� �Well the four robots would have been the Mini-Cons Megatron has under his control. But what would he want with human technology?� �I don�t know too much on the laboratory but what I do know is they deal with a lot of nuclear and bio chemicals. And the better question is what would Megatron want with the chemicals?� �Maybe Starscream may have an idea. Do you know where he may be?� �Just a few moments ago, we had seen him outside.� �Well let�s go find him.� Optimus turned and headed outside to find the ex-Decepticon with Alexis still in hand. ******* In a small caf�, in Miners Hideaway, Colorado, a young woman was reading the morning paper, drinking a cup of coffee. She had been in town for two weeks on a vacation trip from writing her latest book and was going to the caf� everyday and was becoming well known to the area. She was famous novelist and worked part time on the side as a traveling fashion designer. She had long auburn hair to the hips and was wearing a plain dark green dress, which had elbow length sleeves. From her looks she looked European. Beside her was her opened lap top computer. She had just finished reading about the break in at the Arizona Science Institute in which she knew nothing about. She turned to her computer and flicked on the Internet to do a quick search of the company. �Whatever they stole,� she said in a British accent, turning back to the paper, �had to be chemicals since that is what they experiment in.� �Is there anything else I can get you, Angel?� a lady behind the counter came up and asked. Angel looked to the lady. �Perhaps. Can you tell me if there has been a young man by the name of Alan Tropan, living around here?� �I�m not sure. What does he look like?� �He�s about 5�7�, short dark brown hair and brown eyes.� Angel pulled out a computer print out of the man she was looking for. �He�s the weapon specialist. Yeah he comes in here almost as much as you. In fact he should be arriving at any minute.� No sooner said, a man of his description walked in. �Alan!� Angel called. The man she called to, turned to her direction. �Long time, no see, Angelica.� He had an American accent. �Yeah, it is.� Angel got up and walked to her friend and hugged him. It had been a few years since they seen each other. The last time they had seen each other was graduation in high school. They had gone out during high school but decided to break up on a mutual agreement since they were going to go to two different countries. �I got your email yesterday saying that you were in town. So what brings you here?� �Taking a break from my latest book. You want a coffee, on me.� �Sure. Are you still working with your folks in the fashion world?� The two of them walked back to her seat and ordered another round of coffee. While they were waiting for their coffee, Angel continued, �Not as much as I use to. I still work with them but more on the side.� �What about your medical practice?� �That is also part time. I did travel to some foreign countries for the past couple years but I believe writing books is my best job. Oh look what happened early last night.� Angel picked up the paper and showed him the article about the break in. �Wow! I�ve heard of that Institute. It does experiments on nuclear and bio chemicals.� �Yeah, I just finished doing a quick search of the place. It seems the X-men may have a new enemy.� �Yeah about them. Are you going to work with them?� Two weeks before graduation, he found out that his soon to be ex-girlfriend was a mutant. When he did find her hidden life, he confronted her about it. He mostly wanted to let her know that no matter what happened he still wanted to be friends with her. �You asked me that when we graduated and I told you then, no. Mind you the Professor has offered me to join them but I declined.� �Sorry,� he said. He turned back to the paper. The only thing he could come up with was what was the world coming to. He didn�t understand why anyone would want to steal nuclear weapons. ******* Megatron entered the huge cave on the island of Hawaii, where their human ally hid. For the past few weeks the human hid in the cave from what the humans call law enforcement. Of course Megatron didn�t like being on the planet. He preferred to be on the Moon. He also was very angry with Starscream. Starscream led the Autobots to the Moon and took all the Mini-Cons. �Raven!� Megatron shouted. Even his voice sounded displeased. �Ah, Megatron,� Raven came around the corner. He jumped up onto a ledge so he was closer to Megatron�s height. �What brings you here?� �You had the Mini-Cons break into that laboratory. Why?� �I am an expert at chemicals and the best way to get rid of the Autobots and Starscream, that traitor, is by using nuclear weapons. The Bio chemicals will be for those human friends of theirs and with a little luck, I�ll lour my enemies in the trap as well.� �You know about Starscream?� �Yes. Thrust came down and informed me last night. The worse part of it is Starscream knows were I am, he may give away my position to the Autobots and I�ll be arrested.� �I may have solved that problem,� Thrust said as he came into the room. �Thrust?� Megatron asked. �Sir, I came down here and started working on a plan to change Raven�s hiding place and I think I�ve figured out a way.� �My, my,� Megatron said. �You two are getting chummy. While just a few weeks ago you would have loved to put a hole in the human�s body.� �Yes...well...� Thrust cleared his throat. �Thrust has a lot of knowledge in science and since he�s your tactician, it�s working to my advantage and his.� �Well what do you have planned then?� Megatron sounded better but no one questioned it. Raven jumped into thrust�s hand and the two of them led the Decepticon leader further into the cave where preparations were being dealt with. ******* Optimus Prime had all the Autobots and kids assembled in the control room. He needed to inform his men of the Mini-Cons stealing human technology. The last one to arrive in the room was Starscream. He seemed to off in another world until Optimus began. �Men, we have a new situation developing,� Optimus started. �Alexis just informed me that four Mini-Cons broke into a Science Laboratory in Arizona yesterday. It�s not reported of what was stolen but the laboratory deals experiments in nuclear and bio chemicals. Which are harmful to humans and the planet.� �How would Mini-Cons know where to look?� Hotshot asked. �I�m not sure Hotshot,� Optimus replied. �I do,� Starscream said. Everyone looked over at him. �There is a human working with Megatron. He probably conjured up the scheme.� �How do you know about the human?� Scavenger asked. �Three weeks ago, the Decepticons helped him escape from the law and hid him. By now he would have relocated from his hiding place.� �Where was he hiding?� Optimus asked. �On the island of Hawaii in an abandoned cave. The cave is big enough to fit Transformers.� �Optimus, Sir,� Red Alert said. �It might be a good idea to take a look at this cave. It might give us a clue of why the Decepticons had stolen technology.� �Good idea. Starscream, Scavenger, Hotshot and Red Alert. You four check out the cave.� �Optimus,� Rad asked. �May we come along? If there is a human involved, one of us might be able to help.� �You�re right, Rad. You and Alexis go with them,� Optimus ordered. �Another thing. I�ve contacted Cybertron for some reinforcements. They will be coming by shuttle. And just a few moments ago, got word that the message was received.� �Cool,� Carlos said. �We�re going to meet more Transformers.� �Dismissed,� Optimus Prime commanded. �Well let�s get the show in gear,� Hotshot said heading towards the warp room. The other three Autobots followed closely behind, leaving Optimus with the rest of his men, pondering about the human. |
