Community Theatre

Auditions for the Wakulla Community Theatre�s March production, Kiss Me Kate, were held Monday, November 13 in Sopchoppy. A large number of veteran Theatre members and several newcomers participated by reading scenes from the play and singing the wonderful Cole Porter songs.

I think this is one of the best casts in the history the WCT. Following are the audition results:

I appreciate our judges, John Masterson, Connie Clineman, and Mona Colson for their excellent attention to the evaluation process. Kiss Me Kate is a �play within a play� featuring Shakespeare�s �The Taming of the Shrew.� It should be challenging, but also a lot of fun for the cast and crew when we begin rehearsals in early January.
