Merrily We Roll Along Photos From Show

Presented by Florida State University

Costume Designed By Barbara Shikapuri

These are the projects that I was assigned to create by the costume designer, Barbara. Goldie's Act II, Scene 1 outfit was an S&M costume pulled from stock. My project was to create arm bands and leg bands for that outfit. My second project was the "slaves" or dancers outfits. Barbara and I pulled loincloths from stock, added suspenders and chains. I then made leg guards, arm bands, and masks for them. For Mary at the beginning of Act I, I needed to create a natural looking "fat suit" to make the actress look larger than life. Using a leotard, cotton fill, and pantyhose, I created this suit.
