| On August 5, 2001 Alex and I started an innocent conversation via AIM. Al was telling me all about her "Best of Gilda Radner" she had gotten that week. I found myself saying "I love Gilda" after everything she would tell me about her tape. Then the unthinkable happened. Alex suggested that we bulid a Gilda tribute site together. I'll admit, I didn't think this would really happen. It was late and maybe it was one of those "I want to be a rock star" thoughts. But Alex started looking into where to bulid our site. It was like having a baby. At first I was scared, all the responsiblity and upkeep. But then I thought of all the great things, all the visitors, the message boards. I couldn't wait. The next stuff you'll see is part of our conversation. We had been thinking for a while about what to name our site. We decided on the perfect name, GildaStar...... |
