I think the book is amazing. I think its amazing because here is a young black woman who is trying to survive but she is having fun while doing it. I'm Not saying that she is an idol for little girls but she does show that you only have one life if your going to struggle than add some fun in to it. Even though she has ruff times who doesn't? No one is perfect. She Had To prostitue her body so she can get ahead in life. That's no way to live life but she felt that she couldnt find the "yellow brick road" to recieve a happy place. She was a Video model for Rap, hip-hop, and r&b Artist she's worked with rap leggands ICE-T to rap rookie Jarule. There was one thing that botherd me was when she had to work for money she left her son with his father for 2 years, she didnt see him but called him. Even though he was with his father i think that you shouldnt just drop your son off with some one who didnt want to be with him. |
