It is a physical pain,
With emotional scars.
The physical pain goes away...
...eventually.
But the emotional scars
Are there forever.
No matter how hard someone tries,
The emotional scars never leave.
At times
The person who is beaten,
Feels that it is his or her fault,
That he or she deserved it in some way.
But the other times,
He or she comes to reality,
And realize that it wasnt,
Or at least not all of it.
People who are beaten
Usually live with it most,
If not all of his or her life.
People who are beaten
Never know if this beating,
Will be his or her last.
