What in the world do you say about Stevie Nicks??? The most hauntingly beautiful woman I've even known. Her music, her words, even her very apparition is enchanting. She has been the number one influence in my singing style, and stage presence.
It has been said that even now, she has a bit of stage fright, but when she walks out on a stage.....she completely owns and subdues every soul within the arena. I've seen her in concert, and you can feel the energy she puts forth. Everyone around me...all they could do, besides sing along hoping to borrow a piece of her magick, was say "Oh my God! Can you feel that???" -Yes....I could.
In honor of this woman, who was possessed by Rhiannon long before she knew her....your birds preceed you. Thank you Stevie! May you fly on, fine bird! |
