| 29 February 2004 So far I've felt the baby kick a lot! Especially after I've had a can of coke...hmmm...Anyway, all seems to be going well. I went back to the doctor last week for my regular appointment, and the heartbeat was fine. This coming Friday, I get to go get a real ultrasound! LOL. It should tell us if it's a boy or girl. I'll let you know more on that later! Anyway, everyone here is already taking bets. I'm supposed to call back the minute I find out, lol. Whatever it is, I'm starting to get excited. I can't wait to start buying baby clothes in whatever the appropriate color will be :) . |

| 10 March 2004 Well, as most of you know, I was in the hospital last week for severe abdominal pain. It turns out that the baby just stretched the ligaments in my stomach a little too much, and that's what caused the pain. No surgery for me!! Woohoo!! Anyway, I had an ultrasound done at a Korean hospital today. Did you know that in Korea it's against the law to tell the mother the gender of the baby? I tried to get the doc to tell me anyway, but he said the umbilical cord was obscuring the view. All is fine. Ten fingers, ten toes, and according to the measurements on the ultrasound, the baby weighs 340 grams...which is pretty much on schedule. The coolest part of the whole thing is when she waved at me ::grin::. On the screen, I could see the spine, the heart, and everything...it was a wonderful experience. Everyday I carry this child, I'm amazed at the miracle that God has decided to bless me with. |

| 25 March 2004 Okay, apparently, I'm not updating this site enough because I'm getting emails ;). Anyway, the baby is doing great...kicking all over the place. It's kind of cool. I think if someone else put their hand on my stomach, they'd be able to feel it, but since I won't let anyone touch me, I don't know for sure, LOL We'll both be back in a couple of weeks...and yes, we're both really excited!!! Anywaym I have a doctor's appointment on the 2nd of April...I'll update everyone again then |
