Scimitarfly Silverstar a.k.a. "Scimitar" - by his friends and associates, "Scim" - by Ailey only

Physical description: He's around 5 feet 10 inches tall. He's more lithe than muscular. His black curls have been cut short with a knife. He has incredible blue eyes, like the Caribbean Ocean, almost turquoise. He has a scar that goes from his ear, barely misses his left eye and travels to his lip. It's all on the left side of his face. He has pointed elven ears. His body is covered with scars. Some come from his childhood, some from when he entered the order of swords (an assassin order). He's a demon-elf around 237 years old which makes him look around 23 human years old. By the way, the demon part of him is a vampire demon type.

Personality: He's the resident tough guy. When you first meet him, he comes off as an emotionally distant man. He�s cold and distances himself from the world in general. He doesn�t talk much, but listens to everything going on around him. It�s like meeting a wall around a prison. In short he�s quiet, sorta stands there and looks intimidating. His face is a mask he can control. He rarely shows emotions. There is always extra body space around him, something which people are more than happy to give him. He acts indifferent and heartless. Most people don�t try to get closer than that. Once you get past his defenses, he�s well worth knowing. He�s a real sweetheart that just won�t trust anyone.

He�s tough, stubborn, strong, and complicated in ways that mystify the more logical female brain. Most females and some guys don�t understand why he doesn�t yell when angry or cry when he�s sad. He acts like he�s always right. He does it in such a way that it grates on people�s nerves, especially poor Hope. He sees security as something to stay away from. If not he wouldn�t be in his profession now will he? He values his freedom. He avoids being open and sharing his emotions at all cost. We�re talking to the point of putting himself in mortal danger. He does have one crack though, his eyes. All his emotions show plainly through his eyes. His eyes tell Ailey he loves her, even though he never says it. That�s why she can�t understand why he continues to deny any feeling for her including friendship. Guess he knows if he admits to friendship that other things might have to be acknowledged down the line. One thing he never shows, is that he is so incredibly sensitive about everything. He just never allows it to show.

Most of his attitude was caused by the fact that his past wasn't that of a normal child. This is unfortunately where all his anger and silence comes from. The part that really shaped him though, was being abused often as a child. He, as most people who were abused, blames it all on himself. He wasn't able to protect his siblings or himself through it and therefore blames that part on him. He is now searching for both his mother and father to bring them "to justice". He's basically going to try to kill them since the law really won't do anything about them from where he was from.

The scar on his face is the most prominent feature. He received it from his father for disobedience. He's very self-conscious of the scar. He thinks it makes him look monstrous. This tends to make him very difficult to get to know especially if you're female. Any compliments on his physical features are taken to him as being a veiled insult.

He can't send to understand that just because his parents were one way that he won't end up like them. Because of that he tries to not get close to people in case he would ever hurt them or vice versa. He just thinks that he'll abuse his family or any friends. How he became friends with Wildfire is part of his past that I don't want told here so I'll keep it quiet.

Wherever he goes he tries not to draw attention to himself. Therefore he will find out whatever is considered locally clothing and then wear it. This leads to some strange attire, but people don't tend to look at him twice. This really helps him in his line of work, as he is an assassin. The main reason he stays in this line of work is because he feels he must. It is a fast way to make money, and he chooses whom he wants dead. Also he makes his own times and it gives him access to places that do not normally allow people below nobility in it.

He loves to fight with his scimitar. It�s secretly one of the ways he gets his aggressions out. With his life it makes perfect sense. He trains everyday religiously. There are NO excuses for not practicing in his point of view. Also if you think about it, because of his job he can�t afford to be a little out of practice. One weird thing though, he does NOT like it when people watch him practice. He sees it as an invasion of privacy. Practicing is just something intimate for him, sorta like yoga or warm up or exercise is for some people.

An unknown fact about him is that he saves kids from the sex trade. How you might ask? He has one orphanage open in a major city. Each one he pays for by his job. Now he doesn�t run after kids trying to save them. They (ladies in charge of orphanage) find out who wants out and Scimitars buys them. If they choose to go back later on, he lets them. If they choose to stay, they stay. Later on the kids who get out are assumed to try to help out the orphanage and spread the word about them. All the time though, he is searching for his siblings that he knows were sold into slavery.

Weapons: His weapons include a scimitar that he can shrink and enlarge at will (yes Freud look into that). He also tends to carry a brace of throwing blades when he's on a mission. He does have his crossbow and bolts, though even admits to being only a fair shot with them.

Demon-elf power: Healing

Healing self: At first Scimitars only knows of one way to use his power, to heal himself. He�s been doing this naturally by healing the wound on himself.

Healing others: What Scimitars doesn�t know is that he can heal others as well. He has to have enough energy though. He never really gets enough of a chance to do this until Ailey comes along. I mean come on; her power is like being hit by 15 lightening bolts. Can you get more power than that? Well yes but�anyhow�Ailey cannot always let him use her power. It�s the circumstance that occurs which sets everything up so that his power seeks out another power source to help Scimitars out at a certain point. He adores healing though he will never admit it. He likes it so much in fact he focused a lot of training on first aide.
