Cara Miller a.k.a. The Child of Mind, Love, Darling, Wonderful Angel all of those last ones by Hope, Care Bear by Tommy and later on Ailey
Physical description: Cara is taller than her sister. This was caused by good nutrion. She's around 5 feet 2 inches tall. This also put her on the slightly plump side. She's around 20 pounds overweight. Her outfit isn't really solid yet description wise. Right now I have her wearing blue jeans, a red tank top, and a blue jean jacket over that. Of course she has tennis shoes. Unlike her sister, the "Curl Queen", she's got thick straight black raven hair down to her waist. She has deep brown eyes that are often described as saucers,.
What she does have is matching jewerly. There's a headband, necklace, an arm band, a braclet, and ring. They are suppose to be a flowerly and viney design. It's elvish looking.
Personality: If you looked up the word mothering instinct in the dictionary, there would be a picture of Cara. She's sweet, nutrieing, kind, and wise. Unforunately for the rest of us, she's also shy, submissive, apolgetic, self-conscious, and overly polite. She can be a real lionness when cornered. She also happens to care a little bit too much about others and what they think of her. She's more a follower then a leader. Her eyes ddart back and forth when she talks and they never meet anyone else's (unless it's Hope). She trembles often and blushes just as much.
In her world she had been one year out of school. She has a part time job as a librarion. She has lead a VERY sheltered life.
Cara Miller is exactly what her sister isn't...cautious. She grew up in a dimention similar to ours. Because of this she expects people to naturally be nice to her. She is shocked at the hatred aimed at her because of her mystic heritage. She never quite gets over this intital shock. She thinks that racism is something that only happened in the past and usually only to blacks. Tommy has kept her highly protected her and shielded her when things went wrong. When people made remarks to her in the other dimention he always played it off and hide the truth from her that her world was less from perfect with people running around saying and doing things they shouldn't. In short she's an idealistic dreamer. She's quiet, bookish, and insecure about herself. most of her insecurity from being overweight. I'll go into that later though.
Cara was left in an orphanage wheen she was around 3 years old. She does not remember anything before that. She's shocked to discover that she's a mystic and everyone hates her.
She never figures out how to use weapons. She almost gets her friends killed when they try to show her how. She's lucky to figure out how to use her powers. For example, when she tries to learn to use a force field she does it incorrectly. She does it so wrong in fact she cuts off all the air from moving around Hope, almost making mebe smuthered to death!! She's very gentle(when not messing up) and very shy. Sigh she's self conscious personified.
Weapons: She develops telepathic powers later on in the duartion of the story. She's a total failure with weapons. She gains some telepathic abilities.
