One weekend back in Madrid, Melissa and I decided to go to Rome for the weekend. Amazing city...we had so much fun. Just a warning though. Don't rent mopeds unless you're a trained professional. It made for an interesting experience, but I'm surprised we survived. :) |

Melissa with some wannabe Gladiator guy outside the Colliseum. Sort of creepy. :) |

Fontana di Trevi. Amazing Fountain in the center of Rome. I wanted to run and jump in it, but too many people...and I didn't want to get arrested by the Polizi |

Melissa and I at the Vatican. We had to walk what seemed like miles around the Vatican Museum to find the Sisteen Chapel. There's no way around it, you have to see the whole museum before you can see the Sisteen. |

I'm not a religious person, but the Vatican was definitely one of the most amazing places I have ever seen. regardless of what religion you are, it is incredible. You can at least see where all the catholics money goes. :) |

Finally we did make it to the Sisteen Chapel and I must say it was well worth the long journey. |

Not only is the main wall of the sisteen chapel beautiful, if you look up, that's what you see...all the way down the hall leading there too. |
