Ray Of Warmth
by Sara

The crystal snowflakes fall softly
Settling lightly on the frozen ground
A winter wind sweeps through the trees
Not a single soul is around

A shiver runs down my spine
I wrap my arms around tight
Trying to find a ray of warmth
To end this cold, dark night

Searching for someone, anyone, who cares,
But finding that I am alone
There's no one here to dry my tears
No one to call my own

You come like a burst of light to me
Your arms outstretched, I'm no longer torn
The snow can keep falling down and down
Cause here in your arms, I am warm.
