Lacey was born May 11th of 2000 in New Hampshire. She was the runt in a litter of three. I fell in love the moment I saw her baby pics. We got her in July after waiting a long 8 weeks. She was a little bundle of energy. A live wire that just kept going and going. Well she grew up with our two older shar-peis who due to allergies had to eat vegetarian dog food.( Natures Recipe Healthy Skin) So we placed Lacey on the same food. Well when they passed on a year or so ago we decided to give Lacey a different brand of dog food. So we tried Lamb and rice. She loved it but ended up with a bladder infection. So we took her to the vet and had it treated. It would not go away. So we took her off the lamb and rice and put her on Turkey and rice. The same thing. But this time it was getting worse. So back on the vegetarian dog food she went. Come to find out after much trial and error our little lady was allegic to meat products. Her body can not handle the high PH that meat products produce. Thus the bladder infections. So she is back on her vegetarian Dog food for good. So now we had a problem of finding treats that we could use as rewards. So I began to make my own for her. She loved them and so did my friends dogs as well. So here we are to today. We have decided to share our tasty treats with you and your pets. |
