Oneechanbara is a Japanese video game for the Sony Playstation 2. Just incase you were wondering. Oneechanbara is an action adventure game thats stylish, grotesque, and sexy! You play as a swordwielding hottie wearing a scarf and a bikini. The enemies are all zombies and dead creatures, and they spew gallons of blood with every slice. Its actually a very simple game, and it was intended to be simple, as its part of the Simple 2000 Series of value priced games from D3. The reason for this site? It's a japanese game, and I had a hard time understanding what many of the items in the game did or what the story was about. Another reason is because THIS is exactly the type of game I would make if I were a game designer. I remember playing Resident Evil many many years ago, and when I finally got to controll Rebecca, the cute young girl in the game, I would play as her for hours and hours, when you were only saposta controll her for a few minutes to help a main character who had gotten sick, Chirs. But Rebecca was so cute!! And it was so much fun violently killing zombie with a cute girly girl like her. I said to myself, Resident Evil 2 need to have a blonde cheerleader with a shotgun as the main character. Of course that never happened, but it would of been cool if it did. Shortly after, another game kind of answered my prayers, illbleed for the Dreamcast. Cute girl, lots of gore. But it was missing something. Then Oneechanbara came along, and it filled that gap. Aya had attitude, and she was fashionable and looked delicate. She killed zombies, it was gory, and loads of fun. Mindless fun. Nothing hard, or overly confusing or fustrating. Just mindless violence and bouncing brests. |

This is the story of the hatred between two sisters in Tokyo in the year 20XX.
Aya grew up as an only child with her father, who gave her a strict training in the art of the sword. But now he has been killed and she is seeking revenge. Saki was brought up an only child by her mother, but saw her die of illness and poverty and swore vengeance on the father who abandoned them to follow the way of the sword. Saki then discovered an ancient art to bring her mother back to life, but to do this, she must have the heart of her half-sister Aya...

The younger sister was Saki. Her mother fell ill and collapsed one day,
and died. Saki lived by the sword. Saki's disdain toward her father
stemmed from the fact that he threw away her mother. She plotted
revenge, and seeked her father out, challenged him, and won. Saki tries
to revive her mother through the use of an ancient secret method, although she had little success, however she did manage to conjure an
army of the undead. Saki then realized that the heart of the older
sister is necessary in order to complete the ritual.
Saki can shoot projectiles out of her sword, allowing you to kill
enemies far away. |
