but didn't live there; to Norwalk in 1650 - an original settler; deputy 1654;
In 1902 a new school in E. Norwalk was named Marvin school. Ship: "Increase".

Capt. George Lamberton was lost 13 years before his daughters marriage to
Thomas Cooper in the New Hampshire built ship going to London. He was in New
Haven in 1641, and was probably a merchant from London. Virkus calls the ship
the "Phantom Ship" because of a Longfellow poem with that title. His marriage
record says George was of St. Mary's Whitechapel Parish.
811. MARGARET LEWEN was born 1630 in England. She died in Connecticut, USA.
Margaret married Deputy Govenor Stephen Goodyear after his first wife sailed
with Margaret's first husband and were lost at sea and never heard from again.
Stephen Goodyear was also lost at sea in 1658. The record at St Nicholas,
Acors states Margaret was of St Mary's Whitechapel Parish in England.

David moved to Westfield before King Philip's War. Some of his children are
on record in both towns. Jonathan, the minister of Deerfield, who used to pray
for King George after the Revolutionary War began, and Joseph, minister of
Winchester, and after of Sunderland were cousins and grandsons of David. One
of the lines to the seventh generation is shown by Davis in Geneal. Reg. II,

His Hadley house is still standing He was a Lieutenant and Commander in the
Falls Fight (1676) of King Phillips War.

23 Nov 1687 in Boston.
