was seneschal of France and Count of Anjou from 960-987.
1625442309. ADELA of VERMANDOIS was born 950. She died 975/978. [Parents]
Adela was also known as Adelaide and also Adela of Chalon-sur-saone.
The reference book Royal Descent gives her father as Herbert of Vermandois
but this is considered wrong, according to Plantagenet and AR. Geoffrey is
her second husband but we do not know anything about her first.

Richard was called Richard the Fearless, Duke of Normandy. He was duke
from 943-996. Some sources state that Richard and Gonnor were never married.
It is true that Richard had many natural children. These are listed in Table V

third marriage) was Macbeth. Macbeth murdered Duncan I and this murder was the
inspiration for Shakespeare's "Macbeth". Unfortunately Malcolm's wives are
not known. Malcolm is also found as "Mael-Coluim".

Ethelred II was known as the Unready or Aethelred II the Redeless. He
was King of England from 979-1016. He died near London and was married twice.
We have ancestors from both marriages.

in the battle of Val-is-Dun. This family held lordships of Thorigny, Creully,
Mezy and Evrecy in lower Normandy from the 10th century. Hamon was related
to William the Conqueror.

Roger was the Earl of Arundel, Shrewsbury and Shropshire. He was
probably entrusted with the government of Normandy during Wm. the Conqueror's
invasion of England. He came to England in 1067. Earl of Sussex is probably
more correct than Earl of Arundel.

Frederick was the I Count of Luxembourg, and called Count of the Moselle.
He may be a brother of Henry of Bavaria in 1046. We don't know if Ermentrude
is Otgina's mother, but she is of Gisele. Because of this I have entered
Otgina with an unknown mother and Frederick I as her father.

Ermentrude or Ermentraude's name is not fully established, but her
parentage is correct for wife of Frederick I. We don't know if she is the
mother of Otgina.

Hugh's name was also given as Hugh Barbatus De Montfort-sur-Risle and
he was called "Hugh with a beard". He was killed in a duel with Walcheline
De Ferrers. He accompanied William the Conqueror to England and held
Lordships in Kent, Romney Marsh, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.
