Hi this is Jasmine´s Page and she is 11 years old. This page is especially for her because she is a child of Tuberous Sclerosis. Jasmine was born on April 1 1996 a healthy child until me(her mom) and doctors discovered light spots on her skin. I was were told that it could be vertiligo, so there shouldn´t be anything serious to worry about.
When Jasmine turned 14 months she finally started to walk which is an unusual delay for a child, but I would never think that she was going to have a development delay until I took her to the Westside Regional Center and they received documents from the hospital of her condition. When I heard the news I was devastated. I felt like it was my fault. With the help of my parents, I am getting along fine and just waking up to that nice sunshine face, I know that everything is alright with an angel by my side.
