Character Tower:
Workshop with a wide scope of topics such as: Team-Work, Balance &
Values, Centering life, and Patience & Humility. The 4 cardinal principles to live by. Workshop may involve up to 60 people in 12 teams and takes 90 to 120 minutes.
ART GALLERY
El Buen Amigo/LACA supports the Buffalo art community by providing gallery openings and exhibition space. It cultivates relationships among artists and provides opportunities that encourage emerging artists to stay and work in Buffalo. El Buen Amigo/LACA is dedicated to the promotion of arts and culture through education, entertainment, community interaction and trade.
OUTREACH
Through the El Buen Amigo Fair Trade Outreach Project we sell our Fair Trade crafts and artwork at churches, schools, conferences and other local and national venues throughout the year. This Project provides vital income to artisans and farmers around the world. Volunteers are always needed. COMMUNITY MEETING ROOM
Contact El Buen Amigo for availability of our community meeting room. We have the capacity for up to 50 people. There is no charge for the use of the room, though donations are welcome.
RECEPTIONS
El Buen Amigo/LACA honors notable citizens and outstanding members of the community. Receptions are held throughout the year by invitation.
l Story Teller � Discover the legend of folklore and customs of the Latin American countries represented in the gallery. [30-60 minutes]
l Pi�ata Workshop � The history and legend of the pi�ata is revealed by making a pi�ata with step-by-step instruction. [60 minutes]
l Lunch � Enjoy an authentic Latin American meal. [30 minutes]
l Latino Dance Class � Learn and experience the history of Latin rhythmic dances such as Meringue and Salsa. [60 minutes]
