| The Aztecs played the IBA team at Jackie Robinson Field, and were outclassed by the superior Japanese team. The Aztecs played well in the field, but were without a catcher, which led to countless passed balls, and stolen bases. Justin Gutierez filled in admirably behind the dish, as did Anthony Flores, but the speedy IBA all stars were just too much. Highlights offensively were provided by Michael Alvarez, who ripped a single down the rightfield line for two RBI. Hits were also earned by Angel Schubert, and JD. |
