Hello all! As most of you know by now, I have been accepted into the People to People Student Ambassador Program. (*and the crowd goes wild!*) The purpose of the page is to keep you informed on my fund raising progress, project ideas, and hopefully *fingers crossed* a gallery of pictures from my trip.
Now then, this is all well and good but I'm sure y'all are asking yourselves, "What on earth is Miranda going to be doing for three weeks over there?" - I'm glad you asked! 'Cause here's an itinery!
| June 5 | We depart by plane from Dallas to Gatwick in London (stopping to change flights in New York City). This is going to interesting...England and Ireland are on GMT, which is SIX HOURS ahead of us! | |
| June 6 | We meet our delegation manager and the coach driver. We also meet up with the delegation from Florida and South Carolina. | |

In the the afternoon will be spent playing "traditional Irish Games" such as something called "hurling" and "Gaelic Football." That night, we put our new dancing skills to the test with the locals at an open air cross roads dance and BBQ in a nearby village. | |
