King Tut
Tut was born in the den of our home on December 5, 1981.  He had 4 brothers and sisters. When it came time to adopt out the little
ones his brothers Climber, Explorer and his sisters Smokey and Cuddles had no trouble finding homes. Tut, however, was a different story, he was a black and white tuxedo kitten but the way his markings were on his face made his eyes look like they were crossed.  No wanted to take him because he wasn't very handsome. So we decided we would just have to keep him and we named him King Tut because he had a black spot under his chin which looked like a goatee.  As Tut began to mature he grew into his markings and became a very handsome regal looking cat. When Tut was young he always wanted to play outside with the kids and he loved to lay under our cypress tree and watch all the action.  One of the things that he really liked was to be vacumed. We could take the vacume and as long as we kept the noisy part far enough from him, he would lie there while you ran the hose over his back.
Tut used to wait til Chuck got home then he would run to the livingroom where his toys were and they would play every night. As he got older he would chase the toys less but he still wanted to play everynight. When he was young he didn't like being held but
again as he matured he became a wonderful lap cat.
King Tut left us after 18 love filled years. He is buried under the cypress tree he loved so much. A few weeks after his burial  a beautiful patch of dicondra appeared. It wasn't planted by us so
Tutters must have left it for us to remember him.
We can look at that wonderful patch and think of our little Tutters.
Tutter J. Baloneypoopens we miss you so much.

THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
Just this side of Heaven is a place called RainbowBridge.  When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to the Rainbow Bridge.  There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.  There is plenty of food, water, and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who have been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.  The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone
very special to them, who had to be left behind.  They all run and play together, but the day comes when suddenly one stops and looks into the distance.  His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have just been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.  The happy kisses rain on your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.

                                Then you cross the Bridge...together.
